I wanted to let everyone know in case anyone else has this problem. Since I have owned my truck every time i put my Truck in reverse and the side mirrors fold down they never go back to the original position. Over time my side mirrors get so out of wack that I have to stop my truck and hit my seat memory. After a couple days it gets to be a useless feature. I contacted @RamCares(Props) and they got me in touch with an FCA specialists. I took my car to the dealer and this is what i heard back.

FROM FCA REP
'The fix that we are doing on your mirrors is called a RRT. Its is like a recall for the vehicle but software updates not an actual part. They are Vin specific as well so they are slowly being released on each vehicle. You can tell the forum but not all the vehicle have them yet. I hope that helps. I don't have much information on it because it was just released.'

Just in case anyone else has this issue you can reference this and hopefully get some help.

I call that rrt vehicle / vin specific software update b.s. talk they are trying to buy time with... To me they something about they are working on a general software update which fixes the uconnect issues as well as the mirror to be released in Q2... I don't really give that any more credibility but I believe they don't have their **** together and come up with all sorts of stories to get you off their a.s.s...

So far the mirrors seemed to be fixed. We will see after a few days. Still no word on the ghost braking (feature) and no sound (feature)

Fyi I was at the dealer today about something else and asked about the mirrors not returning inconsistently. There's a tsb they just issued yesterday stating a resolution is coming in q3 this year. Sorry I didn't grab that tsb number but I looked at it with the tech and it was issued June 6 and sounded exactly like the problem

Thank you for the update. If you get the TSB please let me know and I can relay the info to my FCA rep.

I just got an update from RAM.

Morning,

The software for the mirrors will not be released until late 3rd quarter.I do apologize about this.

It might be a while before this is fixed unfortunately.

I have had my ram 7 months. 3 months ago, FCA told me a computer update for the door module would be out in 60 days and would resolve this issue. Its been 90 days and my dealership has nothing.
Just don't use it. It drops the mirrors way too far anyway. It is actually from the larger 3/4 and 1 tons where the settings are perfect.
I just use the small outer mirrors to guide me along a curb
