Screen Themes not working

I am having the same issue with my Ram. I did mention to the dealer. They do not know what to say. Maybe there will be an update coming soon.
Keep our finger cross.

I am hoping they have an update coming soon. It is a cool feature when you initially change the settings. It was not a selling feature when I was purchasing the vehicle but something new as you can change the display weekly if needed!

This thread has been going for almost a year and still no update? Wow...seems a simple enough fix. Guess not.

Had the truck at the dealership for the brake pedal recall, and had them check on this issue as well. All the dealership had to say was that there will be an over the air update for the radio, but gave no timeline.

I have mine documented on January 4 saying it will be out early this year went back to the dealer on April 16 and they said it is out of their hands It’s not that big of a deal that it doesn’t work the big deal is getting the runaround from everyone. I personally think they don’t know how to fix it

Still doing it... annoying.. also have you guys noticed if you say go from theme 1 where the 2 color speedo is but go to say theme 5, the speedo color is the same white throughout no gradient.... so they can do it... lol

No theme on my big horn 8.4 either, didnt know it was there until stumbling upon this thread. Will make a note next time I'm at the dealer to have it documented

It's not available on all 8.4 units, only Nav equipped units.

Thought I would resurrect this thread. Having the same issue on my Lonestar w nav. Not a huge deal just an annoyance... sure would like a fix at some point Seeing we are agree half way through the year....

I love receiving things that were supposed to be already included as a gift like we are having a favor done for us ..... I feel like it should be a pretty easy coding fix. But wha do I know. ...

I made mention of the theme problems staying set in the cluster when my 2019 Big Horn was in for the recalls and they found an error code so I brought it back to have the Hub control unit, or what ever they called it replaced under the back seat. Well it didn't solve it, and they had no idea what I was talking about initially. Glad to find this forum with all this helpful info. Same thing here, use the key fob to lock or unlock my cluster display stays on the theme I set. If I remote start it with the key fob cluster resets to factory. If I use the UConnect app and lock/unlock or remote start it resets the cluster to factory.

I havea Laramie Black edition, and changed mine, and it has never changed back.. might check to see if the battery terminals are tight

Just had my truck in for the V71 recall a couple of weeks ago. They told me a software fix/patch/update was pending this quarter (July - September) to fix the theme issue. They said it might even be included in this big over-the-air (OTA) update that's supposed to happen this year which will allow us to order food from our trucks.

As long as I don't remote start the truck with the k fob or use the uconnect app the theme stayed, until..... I started using Android Auto. Now it changes when I connect my phone. It does what it wants when it wants. Until the patch comes out I'll just leave it.

Still no Uconnect update this quarter? Figured we would have one by now to address the cluster theme reset.

Is anyone having trouble with the themes for their touchscreen/gauge cluster? As you know the theme can be changed with different colors and fonts etc, which changes on the gauge cluster as well. When I change the theme, the touch screen stay on the one I wanted, but the gauge cluster reverts back to the factory setting. It will stay on the theme on wanted for a day then changes back to the original. Not sure if this is a glitch in the system or what.

Yea they’ve been saying that all year. It’s always in the next quarter. We’ll see if they actually do it
