Rebel only tire size referral

my truck was a rebel with stock suspension with 305/70/18

This website might help, it is a calculator with visuals for wheel and/or tire changes. It helped me make some decisions with modifications to my Rebel.

You'll need the following rim information from stock Rebel rims (FYI I took this information directly from backside of my stock Rebel Rims):
Rim diameter: 18"
Rim width: 8"
Backspacing: 19.05mm

Wheel Offset Calculator

295 is the widest I would go on the stock rim. Mine clear the upper control arms but wouldn’t want to get any closer.

Wow that is way too close for comfort. No doubt there is some rub when taking curves like an on/off ramp. I’m not saying take the curves at Ferrari speeds, but tires have give and movement under stress and it’s only a matter of time before that causes damage.

Been driving hard and so far no issues. It looks much closer than it actually is. There’s just under a 1/2” of clearance. Stock was .800” clearance.

I’m sure a different style of upper control arm would give a bit more clearance compared to the stock one but I’m not real worried at this point. I’ll be watching closely for any rubbing but doubt it will unless the air pressure is very low.

Right on man! I probably just judged the picture wrong. I should know that because I take 12 pictures at a clip and only 1 pic comes out looking the way I want . 🤣🤣.

Looks like a small wheel spacer could help that situation

Without the raised letters it wouldn’t even be close😆

So ,I got the Cooper Discoverer AT3/XLT in 295/70 /r18, they ride nice and quiet, NO RUBBING, and definitely fill the wheel wells ! So far I like them!

Hi limechallenger! Can you share your experience so far with these tires? You put them on the stock rims without spacers/lift? No noise on the highway?

I run 285/75/18 with front leveled and .75 spacers in the front and 1.00 spacers in the rear. No rubbing whatsever.

That is the size I'd like to run, you think they'd work with no level or spacers, stock wheels...?

I run that size without any spacers. I do have a front level, I still have plenty of room without any rubbing or other modification.
