Rebel GT Exhaust question

Just to add a bit more entertainment....I was just under my GT verifying my exhaust and found that my resonators are both -L 🤣

But the muffler is correct and it all still sounds great.
I just checked mine and both are Left side resonators, damn Ram!

So what now? Should I take it to the dealer and ask for the Right side resonator be ordered and installed? This and the glitchy Uconnect 5 12” screen certainly takes the fun out of getting a new truck.

OK, I was able to check the actual part numbers and I think I’m ok. Both having a “ L” on the resonators thru me off. I’m sorry, false alarm.
Muffler C-9396 / L Resonator C-9408-L part # 364AA
R Resonator C-9408-L part# 365AA

Off topic but I couldn’t do anything but laugh when I noticed this while going under the truck. Notice anything missing? lol

You guys are lowering my excitement level here - paying this much for a truck and seeing wrong parts and missing parts doesn't quite give someone that warm and fuzzy feeling!

The dealer has confirmed that my parts are not correct. The next step is to bring in the warranty manager who is out until tomorrow. After they confirm with the pictures that it's wrong they have to get ahold of the district manager for approval to order the correct parts. Seems like a bunch of BS that they need all these approvals. If something is broken when the vehicle is under warranty it's fixed right away no questions asked, why is this any different?

So I guess the good news is that things are happening. The bad news is it's not happening fast. Even if it was ordered today it likely won't show up until March, but going through all these approval channels will also take weeks or a month so it's looking like spring time before it's fixed.
So did the warranty manager agree and order the part for you? same delivery time as me (early march hopefully)?

My appointment was on 1/24 and I haven't heard anything since. I'll have to give them a call next week.

I've tried to order the GT exhaust parts listed in this thread and being told the part is discontinued. Anyone know how to get around this? Seems like others are ordering the parts...

I suspect they are only available for a dealership to order. The part numbers have been "discontinued" on the mopar parts site since the GT came out, yet my dealership was able to order one to replace the incorrect one

Wait, what? How can they "discontinue" a part for a whole @$$ sub-trim that just came out...?

Could be that they just advanced to a new part number...they keep doing this with other parts. Suddenly part 123456AB will be discontinued and now the current part is 123456AC.

Even though it's essentially the same right? Logistics...
