Rambox/E-torque order tracking

After studying the train patterns in MOTS and consulting my majik 8 ball, I have a(nother) theory....

The transportation tale is wagging the dog.

FCA is building vehicles they know they can ship based on constraints. Parts availability is a constraint...but so is transportation .

No shipping, no invoice, no money. Cash is King when decisions are made. Contracts for train and truck capacity are negotiated...and limited.

Thoughts?
You are probably right. Region probably has something to do with it. Hense the group of locally truck delivered trucks that came off the line early.

Well mine made it to the Body Vendor finally...

Nice to see the flurry of activity lately. Things are happening fast for a lot of people. For the few remaining May orders, I'm sure it'll happen soon for you.

Btw....I'm on (or near) the train!

Railcar Departure / Yard Exit 09/11/18 11:23:37 AM NEW BOSTON, MI

Anyone using 5thGenRam's BOTS tracking can click the links on the spreadsheet (far right side) to get their build sheet and window sticker. They only appear when your status is KZ. The Window Sticker link will return an empty document until your vehicle is prepped for shipping.

I've seen this before in other industries. It certainly would explain the apparent random scheduling we're seeing here.

Does this mean that certain regions will have faster orders built and delivered? What does your magic crystal ball say about New England area??!

Lol....I don't pretend to understand the mysteries of Ram production scheduling! You may want to look at the MOTS data and see what the shipping pattern is for your area by viewing other trucks delivered to your region.

We are all just guessing. I looked at Memphis deliveries and the train seemed to be on a 20 day interval...but my truck just went on a railcar today. Maybe the railcar sits...maybe it moves. Where's my Magik 8 Ball? Lol!
