Whats the longest anyone has been waiting for their truck? I ordered a Longhorn on July 30 (over five months) and still have no idea when I will see the truck.
Hi Bajan55... I ordered mine first week in July. I was told not expect it until Oct then Nov, Dec, Jan... LOL I was told by my dealer rep that it was built and waiting shipping on Dec 20th. I asked if I could get the build sheet was told that he cant even get it until the truck is released to the dealer and it is on its way ? I asked for a update this past Friday I got crickets ... my vin is in the tracker #120750 and nothing shows up their either. I expected to wait just getting tired of the process like everyone else. I hope you get yours soon !

I have been working with a dealership to order a 2022 Laramie night. They have been great but said that with the Laramie, the sport hood is mandatory and not able to be replaced by the standard hood on the night edition. Apparently the sport hood delete is no longer an option for higher trims. Has anyone been able to order a laramie or limited night edition with the standard hood? I know a lot of people like the sport hood but I prefer the clean lines.

I can't answer your question about ordering. But I know there are plenty of people here with the standard hood who would love to do an even swap for a sport hood. So if all else fails, you could post it up here in the forum for a trade.

Correct, the configurator has been a crazy one this year with all the little adjustments in production throughout the take away and give back of certain options and packages. If you click a night edition the ability to delete the sport hood gets grayed out meaning it cannot be selected when putting an order together for a customer.

Getting mine this Friday.

2022 Bighorn Quad Cab
Billet Silver
5.7L V8
Night Edition
Level 2
3.92 Rear

Pretty much what I would've chosen myself had I built it.

Was going to take run-of-the-mill blue one they had, but took my chances on a locate and couldn't be happier.
I really, really like the night edition. Never been a black wheel fan, but at the same time I don't like chrome much.
My last two pickups were a 2008 Silverado Crew Cab with a short bed and then a 2016 Silverado Double Cab with a longer bed.

If your waiting on a order truck, my advise is find you a manual on line with all the details especially the Uconnect 5. I just finish reading mine cover to cover after 10 days, there is more options to choose from than carter has pills.
When the salesman went thru the show an tell at pick up time , it was overwhelming . Time I got home I had forgot 3/4 of what he said and how he said to do it. One option I found really useful is the right side camera view in surround view. with the trucks being bigger and garages smaller, I can put the camera on right side view and see when the tire gets to the mark I put on the floor to stop at, as I have to angle in so wife has more room to get out of her car without getting door dings. The second useful option I like is lane sense. if your not paying full attention an drift over to the lane line without having you turn signal on it puts a little torque in the steering wheel. getting your attention.

This is a fresh screen shot from TODAY! This dealer is in Sullivan, Missouri. I have not dealt with them but when this is on their website...it can't hurt to talk to them.

Well as long as you’re in the market for a Laramie Longhorn, then I guess you’re in luck.
