Price negotiated from MSRP

First time poster and not a RAM owner (yet, anyway), shopping for one as my second choice for a replacement and while I don’t generally favor new cars, the prices just don’t seem to make sense. This thread has been *immensely* helpful, so huge kudos to y’all.

Pretty much every 2025 Limited I find is priced at ~$65k regardless of package (some with $20k+ off, others with less, depending on packages).

Some sitting on lots since January, and some at a current higher price than they were a few months ago. Seeing if any dealers will bite at my offers.

What’s interesting to me is that used ones are priced around the high 50s/low 60s. Who in their right mind would buy used with 20k+ miles for a sub-$5k discount?

Interesting as I am only seeing $5K off normally in my area.
If lucky, may see $10k off.
Have not seen $20k off in many years.
Also, have noticed dealer stock is not as much as in the past.
Thinking they may be scaling back a bit to avoid having to do huge discounts.

It’s definitely not as widespread as it used to be, but I’ve found a fair few trucks that have been on the lots 8+ months, though no dealers have bitten quite yet. But I’m not in a rush.

I’d love to be back in a truck and RAM are the only ones making one that even comes close to matching what I’m used to driving at this point (and I used to be a GM guy).

mind sharing who you went through for your order?
Airpark CDJR in Scottsdale, AZ. I dealt with Ryan Budrewicz. My deal was completely remote (with the exception of flying out to pick up the truck). By far the most streamlined dealership experience I've ever had, which I feel is saying something, as I'm typically hyper critical of dealers.

If you're in the market, I'd recommend them. When I picked up mine, they still had 4 or 5 various colors configured almost identically to mine. I'd also recommend perusing the official Ram site for a few days. I eventually got targeted by a pop-up for an additional $1,000 cash allowance. I thought it was clickbait, but sure enough, the dealer honored it and knocked an additional $1,000 off even after I had already talked them down a bit.

Good luck!

Edit: It may be worth noting that we closed the deal on the last day of the month. Timing can be big in terms of what the dealer is willing to compromise on.

Provide details --- What is the trim -- what price did you pay VS. sticker?
This smells like a desperate dealer/salesperson post.

Here is the post from Oct 30th, just back a page or two.

2026 Rebel, MSRP $78,715, with:
Granite Crystal Metallic, Luxury Leather-Trimmed Bucket Seats, Technology Group, Advanced Safety Group II, Bed Utility Group, Level 2 Equipment Group, Panoramic Sunroof, Multi-Function Tailgate, 33-Gallon Tank, Engine Block Heater, and Decal Delete.
I paid $62,695 (not including TTL) - $16,020 of discounts and incentives, just over 20% off sticker. I'm sure I could have saved more on a 2025, but the new 10yr/100k warranty got my attention. I also got an additional 84mo/75k mi service plan for just under $1,400 (not included in above price) that covers just about everything except for wear items. I don't typically bite on the extras, but it seemed like a fair price for the additional peace of mind considering the sheer amount of electronics these things have nowadays.

Lol, fair enough. The question was asked though, so I answered. I'm pretty stingy with my praise--especially with dealers--so when one treats me right I'm willing to talk about it. As Ram1500OwnerMaybe mentioned above, my initial post was a couple pages back.

Pickup picture at the dealer and a shot from Saguaro National Park down the road if it helps prove I'm not a bot.

Just picked up my '26 Limited Night Edition that I ordered a few months ago from Granger Motors in Granger, Iowa. They gave me the best quote - beating even Mark Dodge. Quick, no hassle pickup.
$89095 sticker.
$77750 quote (including all fees), minus the $3500 rebate = $74250
That's about 17% off sticker.

2026 Laramie - Granite Crystal Metallic, Night Edition, Level 2, Power running boards, sunroof, spray-in bed liner added on. $75,345 MSRP and I got it for $61,300 +TTL.
What dealer?

If your near Illinois, Sam Leman Auto in Bloomington. IL. Advertised prices are legit. I just got $16,600 off of a Laramie.

Just got 17% off MSRP on a 2026 Bighorn 1500, Crew cab, S.O. Hurricane, Granite gray, night, level 2 equipment, panoramic sunroof, plastic bedliner with grip coating, and dealer installed tonneau cover. Ended up at $52,500 + TTL including rebate (with CDI control number). I should add that it was a CTP (courtesy transportation vehicle) so it has ~900 miles on it already for which they knocked a little more money off.

Curious if you received 17% off MSRP but there were dealer add-ons (Tonneau cover) were those free?

I just rolled up all numbers together for a total of 17% off MSRP. In reality the tonneau cover was a dealer add-on ($290?). Either way, I'm still good with the deal.

2026 Rebel GT, air suspension, level 2, advanced safety 2, trailer tow group, technology group, bed utility group, 33 gallon tank, trifold tonneau cover, ram boxes, side steps, granite/black two tone.
MSRP. $85095

Dealer discount, 3500 rebate, 1000 truecar discount, first responder discount
$66495 +t,t,t

Chrysler of Culpeper, Virginia
Eli Beard was our salesman

Best experience I've ever had at a dealership. Even financing was zero pressure. Negotiated most everything before we drove out because it's almost 3 hours from where we live in Maryland. Was at the dealership maybe 2 hours. Highly recommended. Even shopped the same deal at 3 other dealerships and they all said if this is a real deal you should take it. Lol. We did.

When you guys are talking about % off MSRP, are you talking about before factory rebate? Like 15% off an 80k truck would be 68k or 68k minus factory rebates?
Just trying to get my ducks in a row. Currently talking to a dealership that said they have 17% off a Laramie, but that is including the 3500 rebate and another 2000 for the holiday rebate on the trucks that have been on the lot for a while.
Thanks!

Generally on this thread, the % off MSRP reflects total discount (dealer discount AND rebates)
Ignore your state's tax, title, license and before any trade-in or payoff on your trade.
Out-The-Door is worthless, since this site services customers from Montana (0% sales tax) and Louisana (10.25% sales tax) and everything in between.

Just watched a youtube video yesterday that was jumping up and down about a 17K spread when getting quotes on 100 dealers nationally. Then said "now some of this is due to tax/reg difference" well what good does that do then !

Thank you, so a 17% off msrp including rebates is a solid deal?

I have no idea. I assume so. It certainly isn't the deal of a lifetime or anything. My CDI control number knocked the price down to less than dealer invoice and the rebates & incentives stacked on top of that. My total price was about $5k more than a used one with 30k miles on it in my area. I'm going to call that a win.

Noticed this thread late, but I picked up my '25 Ram Rebel that I snagged a few months ago from Knights Claremont CDJR in Claremont, CA. They gave me a hard time on final pricing after I showed up to purchase the truck. They tried to throw on dealer added options ($4,500 up charge), so I got up and walked out the door. The salesman and sales manager approached me outside before leaving and asked what they can do. I told them I wasn’t desperate for the truck and I wasn’t going to pay the added dealer option fees. They agreed to remove the extra charge from final pricing.

$75,160 - MSRP sticker.
-$7,516 - 2025 national 10% below MSRP
-$7500 - Dealership discount
-$1500 - Preferred lender Discount
-$500 - First Responder Discount from Mopar
Total Discounts/Rebates - $17,016
$58,639 - Before taxes and fees
That's 22% off sticker.

$64,355.74 - Final (including all fees & taxes)
