Price negotiated from MSRP

First time poster and not a RAM owner (yet, anyway), shopping for one as my second choice for a replacement and while I don’t generally favor new cars, the prices just don’t seem to make sense. This thread has been *immensely* helpful, so huge kudos to y’all.

Pretty much every 2025 Limited I find is priced at ~$65k regardless of package (some with $20k+ off, others with less, depending on packages).

Some sitting on lots since January, and some at a current higher price than they were a few months ago. Seeing if any dealers will bite at my offers.

What’s interesting to me is that used ones are priced around the high 50s/low 60s. Who in their right mind would buy used with 20k+ miles for a sub-$5k discount?

Interesting as I am only seeing $5K off normally in my area.
If lucky, may see $10k off.
Have not seen $20k off in many years.
Also, have noticed dealer stock is not as much as in the past.
Thinking they may be scaling back a bit to avoid having to do huge discounts.

It’s definitely not as widespread as it used to be, but I’ve found a fair few trucks that have been on the lots 8+ months, though no dealers have bitten quite yet. But I’m not in a rush.

I’d love to be back in a truck and RAM are the only ones making one that even comes close to matching what I’m used to driving at this point (and I used to be a GM guy).

mind sharing who you went through for your order?
Airpark CDJR in Scottsdale, AZ. I dealt with Ryan Budrewicz. My deal was completely remote (with the exception of flying out to pick up the truck). By far the most streamlined dealership experience I've ever had, which I feel is saying something, as I'm typically hyper critical of dealers.

If you're in the market, I'd recommend them. When I picked up mine, they still had 4 or 5 various colors configured almost identically to mine. I'd also recommend perusing the official Ram site for a few days. I eventually got targeted by a pop-up for an additional $1,000 cash allowance. I thought it was clickbait, but sure enough, the dealer honored it and knocked an additional $1,000 off even after I had already talked them down a bit.

Good luck!

Edit: It may be worth noting that we closed the deal on the last day of the month. Timing can be big in terms of what the dealer is willing to compromise on.

Provide details --- What is the trim -- what price did you pay VS. sticker?
This smells like a desperate dealer/salesperson post.

Here is the post from Oct 30th, just back a page or two.

2026 Rebel, MSRP $78,715, with:
Granite Crystal Metallic, Luxury Leather-Trimmed Bucket Seats, Technology Group, Advanced Safety Group II, Bed Utility Group, Level 2 Equipment Group, Panoramic Sunroof, Multi-Function Tailgate, 33-Gallon Tank, Engine Block Heater, and Decal Delete.
I paid $62,695 (not including TTL) - $16,020 of discounts and incentives, just over 20% off sticker. I'm sure I could have saved more on a 2025, but the new 10yr/100k warranty got my attention. I also got an additional 84mo/75k mi service plan for just under $1,400 (not included in above price) that covers just about everything except for wear items. I don't typically bite on the extras, but it seemed like a fair price for the additional peace of mind considering the sheer amount of electronics these things have nowadays.

Lol, fair enough. The question was asked though, so I answered. I'm pretty stingy with my praise--especially with dealers--so when one treats me right I'm willing to talk about it. As Ram1500OwnerMaybe mentioned above, my initial post was a couple pages back.

Pickup picture at the dealer and a shot from Saguaro National Park down the road if it helps prove I'm not a bot.
