If you don’t mind me asking... did you get the oc e price or did they go lower? If so how much lower? Thanks.

We started negotiations at the OC e-price and then worked our way from there. Was able to get about 4% more discounted from the e-price. Ended up doing a 3 yr. lease with 12k miles per year and $0 down. Made it very hard for me to walk away from the deal with no money out of pocket. Signed for the truck and drove it home :D

To echo an earlier question, when you guys are talking about your price under invoice, that includes rebates, correct?

How many have used the affiliate program through Tread Lightly or their business to get the automatic 1% under plus rebates and cash back? I'm trying to decide if that is likely a better deal and it's the rebates that you are all including to calculate your percent under invoice paid.

Thanks

What discounts are included in Koons price as shown? ONLY the $1500 consumer money all the rest is their discount . What other rebates might you qualify for? Usaa, penfed, conquest etc. Penfed only.

Without knowing the details I'd lean towards Koons and buy the call vs the put. Discounts more often go up with time.

After a few months of wavering between a Bighorn or Laramie, whether to place on order or find something on a lot ... local versus out of state, dealer hopping in person and online; I picked the winner from only 3 models to make the cut within 150 miles of the homestead.

2019 Laramie CC 4x2 Granite Crystal Sport Package, Level 1, Under Seat Storage, Anti-Spin, HEMI eTorque & 8.4 Nav
MSRP - 51305
Selling Price - 43611 (8% below invoice)
Rebates - 3000 RAM, 1000 Truck Owner, 500 Sams Club, 500 RAM cash
Sub-Total before TTR - 38611 (24.7% below MSRP)

Hooray Me!
Where is that at

I found a good deal in San Diego. The dealer was asking $39k, MSRP $52k, so I flew to SoCal the next day! After taxes+registration fees I paid $45k out the door and drove it 560 miles back home! BF31EB73-1E6E-40F4-BC8E-0C59F99C949B.jpeg

What made you sell your raptor. I've seen you over on the raptor forums. Been debating a gen1 but still leaning towards a ram at this point

Took a Rebel for a ride on a day off. Really impressed & swung a killer deal. With sales tax savings figured in I basically got what I paid for the Raptor in Dec '16. If not for the Rebel 12 package, it wouldn'ta happened! Phenomenal deal all around. Also took a '19 Sierra At4 out that day...it came dead last.

Well, congratulations on the new purchase.

Which dealership/sales person did you use? I’m in the St. Pete/Tampa area looking for a deal like that. Thanks

@T_Strey5 I bought from Winter Haven Dodge @ 299 Cypress Gardens Blvd. My sales guy was Mike Pereira. Ferman New Port Richey first quoted me 8% below invoice and Winter Haven matched it and I went with them based on the truck's options. These were the only two dealers that anything close to what I was looking for. I worked everything over the phone/text/email before driving over to finalize the purchase. I had also worked with Saul at Thunder in Bartow. I really wanted to buy from him ... great customer service (and I never even met him). I was originally looking at a Bighorn from them, but changed to the Laramie. They called me the last day of October to throw me a great deal on the Bighorn, but it was too late.

Good luck!

Shoutout to Saul @ Thunder! I had the same great experience with him, but like you, ended up buying elsewhere.

All,

New to the forum here, and glad to be a new RAM owner as of last Saturday! My last new Ram was a Quad Cab I bought in 1999, and have had 3 Chevy Avalanches since.

I had to search forever to find the package I wanted, nobody locally in Southeastern VA had it. Here's what I bought:
2019 Laramie 4 X 4, with the following options:
  1. 6'-4" Bed
  2. Diamond Black Crystal Pearl Coat
  3. Black Appearance Package
  4. 5.7L Hemi w/Etorque engine
  5. 4 Corner Air Suspension
  6. Level 2 Equipment Group
  7. Uconnect 12" Display
  8. Tri-fold Tonneau Cover
  9. 22" Polished and Painted Wheels (which I don't want)
  10. Trailer Tow Group
  11. Panoramic Sunroof
  12. 33 Gallon Fuel Tank
  13. Black Leather Trimmed Bucket Seats
  14. Rear Wheelhouse Liners
  15. Power Running Boards
  16. Single Disc Remote CD Player
  17. Rear Underseat Compartment Storage
  18. Bed Utility Group

After a ton of searching for what I wanted, I found almost exactly it - the only things missing from the above that I wanted are Rambox and the Advanced Safety Group. Here's the deal I negotiated directly with the sales manager in New Jersey:

MSRP - $66,635
Sell price - $59,455 ($7,180 off)
Rebates - $5,000 (USAA Member certificate $1k, Truck Owner Conquest -$1k, Retail Consumer Cash $3k)
= $12,180 off MSRP.

Trade in Value 2013 Chevy Avalanche - $23,500

+$1,492.14 New Jersey SALES TAX (4.15%)
+$153.75 MOTOR VEHICLE
+$399.00 DEALER DOC FEE
$32,999.89 TOTAL OUT THE DOOR

This is the 2013 Chevy Avalanche that I offered as trade in (very good shape, (86k miles) which we agreed at $23,500.
IMG_1038 3.jpeg
Delivery - $200 to my driveway (about 300 miles each way)

After all that, the dealer called ( I was now turned over to a salesman) the next day and said he had bad news, that the truck had been used as a demo and the sales manager wasn't aware of that. I asked why they would use the most expensive Ram on the lot as a demo, and he replied that the owner was the one driving it and that he owned 17 dealerships, LOL. So I asked how many miles and how long it had been driven, he said 2 weeks and 1800 miles. I asked about a discount for that. After talking with the sales manager, he said they had discounted as much as they could. So I told him I thought they were low on my trade in and could go up $1k, which they did, it went up to $24,500. I ended up paying $31,958.39 with trade in.

Here's what this beautiful beast looks like! That said, I am changing out the rims - anyone interested in them please make me an offer.
