Price negotiated from MSRP

My 2021 Laramie was MSRP at $71,155. Today, a 2022 from the RAM build site is about $6K Higher.
There is no option for 2023 yet.

My Dealer sent me an Email wanting to buy my Truck back to sell me a New Truck. Nope, not gonna happen.

I just left another local dealership trying to make a deal on a truck they had in stock. It's usually laughable but also getting a little annoying at this point. So today is Black Friday, usually a good day to walk into a car dealership. The dealer has a 1500 LongHorn optioned close to what I am looking for and it has all my must have options. Total discount if I want to buy the truck....... ZERO. No discount, no special financing, nothing. Only the rebate I got for signing up to RamTrucks.com and they already knew about it and were factoring it in without me even mentioning it. And on top of it, they gave me a low ball offer on my trade in. They also were adding $995 for Ally Appearance which I noticed later. I don't know when local dealers are going to get serious about selling trucks. Another dealer near me has a truck that I looked at on July 5th still sitting on their lot. Prices seem to go up the longer it sits on the lot. Sorry for the rant.
man that some bs, that dealer sucks

Is this a good deal? MSRP for 2022 1500 Laramie is 68,800 and selling price is 59,550. Brand new with 220 miles on it
Scroll through this thread and figure it out for your self. If it has everything you like, I would think so. It's almost 10k off MSRP. Most dealers are still putting premiums on top of MSRP. So some shops would be selling the same one in the $70s not including tax and lic.

MSRP for mine was 63 and I paid 59 OTD with GAP insurance. (so really 58, that was my number) I'm pretty happy with it. May not be the "best" deal, but I'm still confident that it was a pretty good one.

I think that’s pretty good. Maybe see if you can get a good finance rate also if you’re financing. I’d question why it has 220 miles but probably not a big deal.

I was wondering it too. I test drove it and I looked at the miles its a lot. Maybe it's been in their lot for long time now lots of people test drove it?

It could be that it was a trade with another dealer. Sometimes dealers pull trucks or cars from another dealers lot. If they do, they usaully drive one truck over to trade for the other. Take one, leave one. But that sounds like a good deal to me. I would be happy with those numbers.

But 220 miles is not bad right? I might pull the trigger on this one

What’s the manufacture date? Like some else stated. A ten 10 mile test drives and a dealer switch and poof 200 miles.

Try seeing if they’ll do $58,000 OTD. Try PITTING another dealer against this one with similar car and price

You’re over-thinking it, just as I did when I bought mine. I think mine has close to 280mi which bothered me at the time, but is nothing in the grand scheme of things.

If you’re happy with all else and especially the price, go make it happen before someone else does.

No not bad. Of course we all want a new car to have as few miles as possible. But really nothing wrong with 220 miles on it. I had a dealer get a car for me from out of state more than once. First time it showed up with like 150 miles on it. I was pissed off. At the time, it was my first new car and I didn't think about or realize that they would drive it over from the other dealership. I still bought it and in the end, no issues and it was a great car to me.

If you like it and that's the one for you, don't let those few miles stop you. I wouldn't worry about it.

When I bought my 19 Ram Laramie the only one that had the options I wanted was in Kokomo Indiana. The dealer made the trade and drove to Kokomo to get it. When it was delivered to me it had 605 miles on it. It had been involved in 2 dealer trades so it went from a dealer in Sterling Heights Mi to Kokomo, In then to Midland Mi. When I google mapped the three dealer locations the overall mileage was about 600 even, so the truck saw little driving other than the trades.

Bottom line - Best dang vehicle I've owned and I wouldn't be afraid to go this route again to get what I want.

There is much one can put on the 19 thru 23 trucks to move the price up without knowing what all is on the truck you don't know if you have a good deal or not with knowing the invoiced price to the dealer. But for a Laramie 59 OTD to include GAP has to be a great deal no matter what! (:

Hello:

I checked Mark Dodge's website today for the first time in several weeks. Interestingly, the prices they are showing are just $1,000 below MSRP.

The lowest priced Rams available on their website seem to be in the $50k range.

Have they changed their business model, or did they get their hand slapped by Stellantis for offering low prices?

Are they still offering smoking deals via email?

Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

You get the deep discounts by ordering a truck, not by taking one off the lot.

I just bought a 2022 Laramie Sport off of the lot two weeks ago. MSRP was $68215, I paid $60,050 out the door including dealer discounts and manufacturer incentives.

However, it was an usual circumstance. Someone ordered three identical trucks for their business and decided not to take delivery. The dealer was stuck with three trucks and the end of year was rapidly approaching.

I had a feeling they would be willing to negotiate, and I was right. They also gave me fair value on my trade (2019 BigHorn Sport with 73k miles).

All in all, pretty pleased with the deal I got. Especially considering that the local Ford dealers are charging ~$10k over MSRP at the moment.

The $1000 is just a generic discount on trucks that are in transit. The official pricing will update once it arrives on the lot. For example, Laramie 1500s are $10k off Msrp and eco diesels 1500s show $13k off sticker.

We are very aggressive on in stock inventory as well! The $1000 off is an “automatically applied” discount the site shows while a vehicle is in transit. It will automatically update to the current months offer once the unit hits our lot. For example if a truck is showing $1k off while in transit but the same model truck in stock would be $13k off, it will also update to the $13k off once it arrives :) Please message me if you see one you are interested in.

Got any 2023 Level 2 TRX’s coming in? I’ll take $13k off of one of those!
