Price negotiated from MSRP

I know this forum is specific to the ram brand and it helped me get a screaming deal on my 1500 limited last year. My wife drives a Yukon xl and unfortunately is in the market for an new one, anyone know if there’s a similar forum anywhere for gm products I can’t find one and everything I’ve heard is “good luck getting a deal there”.
Laura Buick GMC in Collinsville, IL was the best game in town last time I bought a GMC. It's been a few years and that could've changed, but worth a call/email.

Totally agree! Bought my wife’s Acadia Denali there in 2016. Obviously things may have changed since then but they are a high volume dealer and had the best prices by far at the time. No haggle, well below MSRP.

Ordered 12/1/21 on a train now.

MSRP 80,589
Negotiated Price 73,864
Waiting to see what incentives are available when it arrives in a few weeks.

2022 Ram 1500 Limited
5.7 Hemi with e Torque
Crystal Gray
Night edition
Trailer tow group
Trailer surround view camera system
Dual pane sunroof
Ram Box
Multifunction tail gate
3.92 gear ratio
33 gallon tank

Laura had such a great process….I’m guessing they were similar to Mark Dodge in that they had shuttle running back and forth to Lambert Airport for people flying in and driving home with GMCs….haven’t been by there in a while

For those "special" codes people are obtaining, is there a thread with a list of web sites to obtain any available codes or does these web sites pop up randomly and always varying URLs?

Also, since they expire do you attempt to sign up when you plan to buy or sign up and when they expire just sign up again????

So the one that is the Bonus Cash is coming from the main Ram Trucks website. You often have to build a truck and then scroll to the bottom/navigate around get it to pop up. A lot of the other stuff is regional and based on the zip code where you live. Ram has an incentive "hotline" that can tell you what is currently available that you can call or chat with via ram chat.

Are there any after the fact rebates that can be redeemed through RAM or even a third party? I remember when I bought my 2019 there was a rebate for I think $250 through Allstate. Any others out there?

Took Delivery Yesterday from Mark Dodge. I originally got the specs in November, ordered mid December (right after a price increase), and delivered early February. The build was quicker than I was expecting. Took the advice from the thread and built online and shopped 15 local DFW dealers, Bluebonnet in New Braunfels, and Mark Dodge. 5 came back saying MSRP then proceeded to hammer me with emails and calls. A few were less MSRP, and only 3 had any real interest in discounting. As many others have commented, seamless process.

2022 1500 Limited 2wd EcoDiesel
Patriot Blue
33 Gallon Tank
Trailer Brake Group
Body Color Bumper
Panoramic Roof

Online Build Price - November - $65,485
Original MSRP at Order in December- $68,120
Delivered MSPR (on Window Sticker) - $69,020
Paid $58,889 before $1k in Ram Cash

So I was cleaning out my Email Inbox when i came across this email I got last month.

It has my name, zip and "private" redemption code.

Curious if anybody had any success using this with the other codes that are currently floating around. Would certainly help on the cost of the new Rebel.

The email said Laramie, but the fine print doesn't specify that:
1. $500 Bonus Cash Allowance valid toward the purchase of a new 2021 Ram Pro Master City® vehicle. $2,000 Bonus Cash Allowance valid toward the purchase of new 2021 Ram 1500 Classic, Ram 2500/3500 Pickup, Ram 3500/4500/5500 Chassis Cab and Ram ProMaster® , and 2022 Ram 1500 (excluding TRX), Ram 2500/3500 Pickup and Ram 3500/4500/5500 Chassis Cab vehicles. Must order or take retail delivery by 2/28/2022.

Do you recall where you originally signed up for this discount????

i got one similar except mine is only for $1k. My ESD is 2/27; so i’m hoping i can get delivery before end of march and get truck month incentives.

I just got my 2022 Ram 1500 big horn 3.6 etorque from Jim Butler Auto Group in Missouri and combined dealer discounts and Chrysler discounts were almost $9,000 off MSRP. Was able to get the truck for just over $41,000.

Are we seeing a potential "break" in the continual price increases, forced mark ups, etc.?

I think it's so hard to know the answer to that question. I mean, just from the basic economics view without taking the affects of the pandemic into consideration, pricing is a powerful tool in curbing demand. As long as people are willing to spend Sticker + and available inventory remains low, there's not really a lot of incentive for auto manufacturers to not increase prices. With such a huge demand for vehicles right now, I don't see things changing too much for the next couple of years. Granted, there are a lot more opportunities to make some kind of a deal than there were say 6 months ago. But those negotiated prices still seem much higher than they would have been a year ago.

I posted a few pages back that GM made a statement that they expect to be back at full production my mid-year.
Granted we wait and see but they must have made that statement base on some information and not just a random statement.

Ordered my ram on 1-14-22. MSRP with delivery was $56,900.00 VIN1C6SRFM3NN289348. 2022 ram crew cab big horn 6'4 box 5.7 4x4. night ed. level 2. with some other misc. goodies.
Employee pricing discount was about -$5,600.00
Gave me NAtion wide bonus cash -$1500.00
Traded in my 19 Ram 1500 lease. (Lease payments are $350/month $0 down) pay off was 29,000.00 trade in was 36,000.00 -$7,000.00
Negotiated for another -$1,900.00 that was being Offered as "coupons" or they gave me more $ for trade in IDK...
Out the door price less taxes came to $41,000.00. I was told any additional incentives beyond the $1,500.00 that I "qualify" for would be available to put toward final price.
