Price negotiated from MSRP

Finally picked up my order. Mike P at Lakeland Dodge in Florida was awesome! Straight forward, no BS and super easy to work with. If anyone has interest in that area, I recommend seeing him for sure.
Congrats, what where your numbers at Lakeland? I reached out to them when I was looking for a truck(2months back) and they weren't wheeling and dealing.
 
The regenerative braking to recharge the 48v battery. Surges a little around 15-20 mph, same feeling as if engine braking.

It is engine braking.
I barely even notice it but why would you buy a truck with a feature you dislike this much, didn't you test drive it?

Off that bat, around $7K off and then with rebates another $4.5K off.

Noticed on test drive but didn't seem like a big deal. Different once owning it. Would keep if used market was not nuts right now. 23 gallon tank also sucks. I bought the best deal last time, not the exact featured truck I wanted. Which is why I am deciding between a well optioned Laramie or relatively base Limited now.

Well, as has been said in this thread repeatedly, a good deal isn't a good deal if you're settling and it's not what you want.

Etorque doesn't bother me in the slightest, love it. The only feature I didn't get was the MFT.
I got a really good deal on a truck that was 99% what I wanted and the MFT was only a want and in July of 20, a Limited Level 1 4x2 Black with Indigo/Frost only existed at 6 dealers in the entire country and due to cobid and prices, I want going to wait any longer. I don't regret my decision at all.
If you're unhappy, time to spend some money
 
So thankful for this thread. Went to all local dealers here in New Jersey and essentially laughed off the lot with offers of $43K OTD on a $50K trim Longhorn. The last guy dealer told me he wouldn't even take that offer to his manager...good luck with my search. Called Aaron at Mike Dodge and told him referred from 5thGen and 1 week later have a new Ram in the driveway for $38K OTD. Wish I would have found this thread earlier and would have saved a month of truck shopping in Jersey. The kicker for me was Carvana offered me $33,600 for my 2013 Wrangler that I paid $34K new for in 2013.
Unreal used vehicle value! Good for you.

Been lurking on this site for a really long time, the used vehicle pricing lately has made affording a new Ram a real possibility for me, but I would need a deal like something you show here. How are you getting the truck from LA to NJ? I'm in Upstate NY and am not finding much luck with local dealers so may need to branch out my options!

Aaron at Mark Dodge helps arrange the shipping if you want to ship it back home. I plan to ship mine back to PA from LA. Some other folks are doing the fly and drive and making a road trip / vacation on the trip home.

Indigo Frost is awesome and I had the same thoughts about the black interior as you which is also why I looked at the Longhorn Black and Saddle but you just get so much more truck with the Limited for the money

Thanks for the pics, that helps a lot. Are they relatively true to color? Another member posted some and yours look considerably lighter than his. He says his were fairly true to color, so I'm a bit confused. I won't have the chance to see this interior in person unless I want to go 1:15 min each way to the closest dealer that has one (which I wouldn't buy from).

Heavily leaning Limited. Waiting to see for sure what one dealer comes back with on discounts for a Laramie locate (Dealer 1). Then I need to decide which dealer to order from. Dealer 1 is 30 miles away and is about $300 more expensive in-total than Dealer 2. Dealer 2 is an hour away, give or take. The salesman for Dealer 2 has been much better and more informed, better response times, etc. But Dealer 2 required a $2000 deposit (Dealer 1 is $500), not sure I like that.

I got a good deal on the last one, $43,500 on $55,135 MSRP. Two places offering about $47,600+ on trade. Then with 0% I'd be saving $2,000+ vs paying on my current loan. Limiteds don't have great incentives in a normal market even, so not losing a ton on that end. For pricing I would get invoice-holdback-incentives-PenFed. So about $54,367 with current incentives ($500 with 0%) on $62,965 MSRP Limited. I would expect incentives to increase a little bit in summer with 2022 about to come out. I factored in buying from Phillip or Aaron and shipping, trade value from Carvana ($48,600 or so), tax benefits of trading vs selling and paying tax on the whole new purchase, and this deal is as good or better when all is said and done and much less hassle. Just waiting on a final word on something from one dealer before making a final decision on the Limited order and what dealer to buy from (they are $298 different but the cheaper dealer is an hour away vs half hour and requires a $2000 deposit).

I am seeing that as I pour through this thread. Seems as though it's about $1 per mile. So, as others have posted recently I'd have to carry the shipping cost and the loss of taxes due to carvana vs trade in. This forum is fantastic for gaining all of that info if you're willing to read it all!

There is a great deal of repetition. You don't have to read all of it to get the basic concepts.
I think the first most important thing to gain is an understanding of the % range off MSRP that is available. Different brands have different discounting and market price. I have heard you don't get much of a discount on a Toyota truck, for example (hearsay).
Then you learn that not every dealer is going to deal in the same way. High volume dealers, rural vs suburb vs city vs regional. Lots of differences.
The forum is great for learning about incentives / rebates programs too.

The downside is that, once you hear about someone getting 20% or better, you want to kick yourself for agreeing to less; or you fight too hard to get a little better price and sometimes end up with nothing for a long time.

Rebates were better then. I got 12% off dealer discount, then $3500 rebates, $1000 PenFed, $1000 Conquest. Got a good trade value on my 2018 F-150, too ($35,500, paid $40,200 in Feb 2018).

Also don't make the mistake of saving $1000 (in my case it was $800) and buy the deal instead of the truck optioned how you want. If the market wasn't nuts right now I'd lose my behind. As is, I'm probably going to order a Limited.
