Price negotiated from MSRP

I had issues configuring the vehicle I wanted and it was suggested to have a dealer assemble it.
Used the above link with requested configuration and even they are unable to do it.
No idea why it should matter that I want the bench seat configuration with the Sport Appearance Package, but apparently it does.

Yeah, you can't get a bench seat with the night or sport packages on a 1500. I'm having the dealer remove all the chrome prior to delivery because of this.

I believe you can get the Southwest Edition with a bench seat, which has most of the Sport but not the hood. You would have to buy from a dealer in that region though (TX and states that touch it I think).

Hi everyone, I am a new member from Canada and putting the final touches on a 2020 Ram from my current 2018 Ford F150 EcoBoost. I will be travelling from Saskatchewan to Toronto as no other dealer has come close (6k difference). I think I have finally found a truck that has the desired features I want plus the utility features that my F150 sorely lacks.

2020 Ram 1500 Sport Loaded (Crew Cab, 5.7L Hemi, Billet Silver, Night Edition, Receiver/Trailer Brake, Spray-in Bedliner, Moonroof, RamBox, Multi Tailgate, Comfort & Convenience, Sport Hood, 3.92, Air Suspension, Level 2, Anti-Spin, Bed Utility, Blind Spot, Advanced Safety, Power Boards and Alpine Group)

MSRP - $83,200
FCA Discount - $10,000
Dealer Discount - $10,725
Before Tax Total - $62,475

24.91% off MSRP. It's an okay deal and decent financing rate of 2.99%

Hello! Question for someone who knows or went through something similar.

If I have a FCA control number, does anything stack on top of that? Right now the offer is employee pricing, so I would just take whichever is better or do they stack?

Also, what about other offers RAM may give such as regional discounts, rebates, military, etc...

Thanks!

they should stack, control number just means extra 1% off. And I believe it comes directly from FCA so the dealer shouldn't have a problem with it.

I think would be a good target. If you are 3-4% under invoice with a control number it’s a good deal. Sales at most dealers is a volume game anyway, so a factory order that they can pocket for a month when they need 1 to hit quota or move up a tier is pretty helpful. You could always to try incentivize them by offering to finance with the dealer then just refinance with your preferred lender at 90 days or so.

So wanted to add this to the mix. I have a Laramie built out with all the options that I want that totals about $57,500. I am being offer $53,010 through the Costco program that includes $1000 in incentives. That is only about 6% off MSRP and doesn’t include delivery fees by the dealership. Would love to hear from others but I don’t think that is much of a “deal” at all.

That is a joke.

Sign up with a savings account with Pentagon Federal CU and after 60 days you can get a certificate for $1000 off. By then rebates on 2021 should be decent, too.

You should be looking for at least 10% off dealer discount (12 to 14% is doable with the right dealer), plus rebates, on a Laramie.

Anyone getting good deals in Northern Virginia? I'm scoping out a 2020 Limited that pretty much has everything I want. MSRP is $71k. TrueCar is showing $64k. I'm thinking they aren't factoring in the Employee Pricing that's in effect. Anyone been able to score anything at/over 15% off in this area?

Definitely recommend. Did a Zoom call first to go over everything. We did all the paperwork via Docusign, and everything in the docs was the same as we discussed. Took maybe 10 minutes. I bought one in stock, so I can’t speak to ordering. They figured out the taxes, etc and it was all correct for my state.

On their site they indicate the dealer price is the final and non-negotiable. Was that the case?

Since you are trading in a very new 2018 F150, how much are they giving you on the trade? Can't assess the overall deal without knowing that.

Just completed my order for a new build. Mark Dodge was easy to deal with and process was fast. Let me know if you want a contact there and I can pass along.

This is a great location for those in the south that are a little too far for it to makes sense ordering from Koons.

That is what I thought as well after reading all these posts.
Yup. And the "employee pricing" thing they have going on right now isn't a deal, either. They are just guaranteeing in total savings what a good negotiator (with a dealer that wants to make a sale) should be able to get in just dealer discount anyway, but they took off all the rebates except $1000 conquest. I bought at the end of Sept, but if I was looking now I'd wait until next month if looking at a '20 and I thought there'd be inventory of what I wanted, or else towards the end of March on a '21 if waiting is an option.

I think there was a little room, but not much. Their website prices are super low, the surprise was that they didn't try and add anything to them in the process.

2019 Bighorn Sport 4x4, 5.7L
Level 2 package
3.92 gears, alpine stereo, premium lighting

$49,510 MSRP
$46,450 invoice
$46,450 price negotiated

Dealer will install rear wheel house liners per my request for free.
Good deal and nice configuation. I looked at the same...

New here. I'm about to order a RAM 1500 Laramie so this thread is of great interest to me. I've compiled several deals reported here and from other sources into a spreadsheet to try to find an average percentage off MRSP.

These deals are as reported very recently, they cover 2020/21 RAM 1500 models only and, except for the ones offered by dealers, I can't confirm their accuracy. Incentives reported were included in the Deal Price, but only if reported. Incentives that were not reported can lower the % off MRSP further.

So, this should not be construed as fully accurate, but hopefully it gives a general idea:

In response to this, mine was a new Limited order - (Though it's the same discount no matter which 1500 you order 7% off invoice with tread lightly from Lakeland - currently the cheapest place to order in the country)
Also, it should be over 14.59% discount - as that $10,452 is before rebates/incentives.
Making it one of the biggest, if not biggest dealer discounts pre rebates/incentives.

So the chart above is a bit misleading, as Rong with a 17% discount only received $9k dealer discount. (Less than 14%)

Also
RRRAAAAMMMM2020
... his is in Canadian dollars, not USD.

Also you're not factoring in, are they 2020? 2021?
Too many factors missing/broad in the chart above to be a good indicator of average percentage off of MSRP.
Though I appreciate the effort.

Not everyone reports all of the details of their deals, and who knows if they're being fully accurate or complete, so it's very difficult or impossible to compile a list like this to be 100% accurate. Therefore, as I mentioned, this should be taken with a grain of salt. However, it should show a general trend.
