Price negotiated from MSRP

All depends if you are upside down on your currently loan for the Laramie. You don’t want to bring over negativity equity. If you don’t...then I think you are in a good position

Is that 9k with or without incentives from FCA?39k on what is essentially a 2 year old Laramie that was probably 49k before ttl when you bought it is a pretty good deal.

After 2 days of emailing to multiple dealers in multiple states...I finally got my order in. Was about to order with Criswell but a dealer in California was able give me a price close to Criswell. Criswell was about $1.7k lower (with tread lightly). However, with the cost of either shipping the truck to California or fly to MD to pick up...it'll be almost the same cost. Probably not as good as some of the deals on here but I feel like it's a price I'm ok with paying. The dealer also doesn't need a down payment to order the truck. I'm new to ordering any kind of vehicle so if anyone can tell me what is the next step besides waiting lol.

MSRP = $66,200
Invoice = $62,011
Selling Price = $60,000 (before tax and incentives)

I think that is a very good number. Welcome to the hydro blue club. I'm so happy with my laramie in that color. Did they have any other hydro blue on the lot? I could only find like 3 of them in the Philly, south jersey, Delaware area.

What does he have to prove to anyone here...really? Good for him if he did that well

That it actually happened and on a 2021 no less. There's absolutely no reason a dealer would get strong armed into this sale. AT $47K, there's $8-10,000 that had to come from somewhere and earlier this year, it was 8500 in rebates on Limiteds, which do not exist now. The only way this could happen is with Ram Coupons and this would have take 16-20 of them and I don't think dealers get that many. If you read this thread, especially from around February forward, you'd understand the skepticism.
He doesn't need to show anyone anything but I an assure you, no ones going to believe that price unless proof is presented, there's too many knowledgeable experienced people on this thread that have been shopping and shopping for too long a time to believe this price just magically happened because the poster demanded it. All of us have gone to the dealer and made "asks" on prices and we've all seen the dealers multilaterally respond the same.

I will be optimistic and say maybe the sales rep made a mistake and quoted the wrong deal and had to follow through with it. However I do not feel it is fair to not back it up with proof. Thats an extra 15% off MSRP over what i got off on a 2020 which was a demo model.
I’m waiting for the post where we find out his truck is a 2WD V6 and the VIN doesn’t match the window sticker posted earlier!;)

Hoblit CDJR from Woodland, CA. I contacted the Fleet Manager directly via email.
I ordered mine on the 15th, just a week a head of you. Same story as yours, ordering through Grady, and no deposit required. Let's cross the fingers to hope our trucks can arrive the best moment with the max rebate Lol

Not yet a ram owner but hope to be on Saturday. Right now they have some really good rebates and I'm in the market. Trying to find out if the rebates are still good with the 0% financing by chrysler or if it's a take one or the other. I can't find any literature on it.

Generally it’s take one or the other, and with interest rates being so low it usually better to take the rebates, but it depends on your credit, etc..
You can call FCA or use the website to find all available rebates in your area.

You can also pre-qualify. Via Chrysler capital. Thats what I did. What I don't like is that only info they give you directly is how much financing you can get. They never tell you what is the rate. I never got that info until I sat down in the finance room. Lucky it was low enough that I took it. If it was over 5%, I was walking out.

Probably a novice comment that I am about to make but might help give perspective:

The dealer (when not directly financing with manufacturer) almost always add 2% to the best new car rate you can find.

The manufacturer seems to add 0.75-1.25%.

My local credit union was 1.99% for 60 mo or 2.24% for 72. Then the 84 mo was a horrendous 3.4%.

I feel that the extra $500-$1k savings incentive of financing through the dealer/manufacturer is not worth it. Although i was told i can refinance in 90 days, I do not trust the market enough to make the gamble with rates as good as they are now.
