Price negotiated from MSRP

It looks like car pricing sites have got 2021 Ram pricing and configuration data loaded up. Seeing some color options again listed that were available then removed in 2020 and some that were not available on certain models in 2020 - Rebel looks to be available in new colors Delmonico Red Pearlcoat, Olive Green Pearlcoat, Patriot Blue Pearlcoat Walnut Brown Metallic Clearcoat that were not available on that model in 2020.

Cars.com has some basic package, color and MSRP info for the 2021 1500 Rams, but not all individual options are listed - https://www.cars.com/research/ram-1500-2021/trims/

NADA has a bit more info. Configuration is a bit clunky with combining options at this time, but it has more data than Cars.com - https://www.nadaguides.com/Cars/2021/Ram-Truck/Truck

Anyone have other configuration sites they use?

Thanks for the links.

They list that the new Advanced Safety Package for the Rebel does include the surround view cameras (finally)!. The full package includes:

Adaptive Cruise Control w/Stop & Go
Auto High Beam Headlamp Control
Lane Keep Assist
Parallel & Perp Park Assist w/Stop
Pedestrian Emergency Braking
Surround View Camera System

Interesting. So Ram still doesn't have the pricing for 2021s up which is absurd but NADA seems to have it all from what I just checked so here's my obersvations.

All these apply to the Limited 4x4 5'7" Model
HEMI is now standard on the Limited (sorry V-6 guys/gals)
ORG went up from $795 to $840 for Limited
eTorque is same $200 difference as regular HEMI from 2020
3.92 is the same at $95
Body Color Bumper Group is the same at $195
Technology Group is new and $1095 (I thought I remembered reading that the LED CHMSL Lamp was going to have a camera in it as well but it doesn't show that...anyone know for sure?)
Trailer Tow Group went up to $995 from $400 in 2020 but includes Trailer Light Check, Trailer Reverse Steering Control and Trailer Tire Pressure Monitoring to go along with trailer brake and tow mirrors BUT the Trailer Tow Group includes the same tow mirrors from 2020 (non-power fold and no surround view)
33-Gallon Fuel Tank remains the same at $445
Dual-Pane Panoramic Sunroof remains the same at $1495
Power-Fold Trailer Tow Mirrors with Surround View are $445 by themselves
Multi-Function Tailgate is the same at $995
Rambox is the same at $995
Tri-Fold is the same at $550
Night Edition is the Black Appearance Group replacement and is now $3995 and DOES include the Tri-Fold Tonneau according to this so that differs from earlier reports but is consistent with the Black Appearance Group from 2020. It includes the exact same stuff as the Black Appearance Group.
22" Wheels are the same at $2095
Trailer Camera Wiring w/no camera is new at $590

Lastly, the Bed Utility Group states that "deployable bed step moves from side of bumper to center of bumper when (MWK) mult-function tailgate is selected" so maybe they finally fixed whatever issue prevented the bigger center step from being included...we'll see.

Does anyone have any experience with what to expect on incentives for factory ordering new year models?

I've gone through this thread's posts from 2019 re: ordering 2020's, but wasn't really pulling much useful information. I'm trying to compare apples to oranges: buying in-stock 2020 dealership truck vs. factory ordering 2021. Thank you!

It's all a crap shoot with 2020 due to COVID and all the issues associated with that. Rebates have been way down this year since April as compared to last year. You won't know rebates on ordered trucks until it comes in which if you order now would be October sometime. I wouldn't expect much depending on the trim. Limited/Longhorn/Rebel probably about $500-$1000. Laramie about $1500-2000 and Bighorn/Lone Star about $2500-$3000. That's just a guess based on what I'm seeing now.

What trim are you thinking of getting?

Thank you for your help!

1500 Limited 4x4's: Weighing getting a new/used 2020 Granite Limited and DIY'ing black appearance group vs. 2020 Black Limited w/ black appearance or ordering 2021 Granite w/ night package.

I have a couple of good offers in the area for current stock 2020 trucks, but I'm trying to figure out the extra cost of just getting what I want from the factory (and whether there would be any comparable incentives).

Edit: I should also say that I was researching current 'standing' offers for (military, first responders, etc). The conditions of the offers are for 2019-2020 MY's. I wasn't sure if that would update to 2021 once they were released, or whether it took longer for them to include MY '21 into those offers. I also saw that their truck conquest incentives are not 'standing' but have been renewed for every month since the 2019's started coming out.

Pretty sure I saw an option ( $500 or so ?) to finally add power folding mirrors in addition to the TTG

That upcharge for the trailer tow group really “should” have included power folding mirrors and the 33 gallon tank. RAM keeps missing the mark on that.

Having an integrated tpms for the trailer is a good thing however you’d still have to have the sending unit screw-on devices for each trailer wheel else how would the system be able to report it? The one I read about was like $300 just for that equipment...

Minor points except for the non-folding tow mirrors, that will be a continual source of frustration me thinks.

So comparing the NADA 2021 Pricing to the current 2020 pricing for the various trims, here's what I came across. These are all based on Crew 5'7" 4x4. Bold pricing is 2021.

Big Horn: (2021 / 2020)
1) Hemi 5.7L - $1,795 / $1,495 (+$300)
2) Hemi 5.7L w/ Etorque - $1,995 / $1,695 (+$300)
3) Off Road Group - $840 / $795 (+$45)
4) Trailer Tow Group - $1,990 / $645 ( Trailer Light Check, Trailer Brake Control, Trailer Reverse Steering Control, Add Class IV Receiver Hitch, Class IV Receiver Hitch, Trailer Tire Pressure Monitoring System)
5) Trailer Tow Mirrors - $245 (Trailer tow mirrors are not power folding)
6) Technology Group - $1095 (Heads Up Display, LED CHMSL Lamp, Rearview Auto-dim Digital Display Mirror)

Big Horn gets a new "Big Horn Level 1 Safety Package" - $595 (Advanced Brake Assist, Cluster 3.5" TFT Color Display, Rear View Auto Dim Mirror, Pedestrian Emergency Braking, Full Speed Forward Collision Warning Plus, Lane Keep Assist)

Laramie: (2021 / 2020)
1) Hemi 5.7L: $1,795 / $1,495 (+$300)
2) Hemi 5.7L w/ Etorque: $1,995 / $1,695 (+$300)
3) Off Road Group: $840 / $795 (+$45)
4) Laramie Level 2 Group: $3,995 / $4,595 (-$600)
5) Trailer Tow Group: $995 / $645 (Trailer Light Check, Trailer Reverse Steering Control, Trailer Brake Control, Trailer Tire Pressure Monitoring System. w/ASC-inc: Black Exterior Mirrors, Black Trailer Tow Power Mirrors, Trailer Tow Mirrors Trailer tow mirrors are not power folding. Trailer tow mirrors do not have surround view capability.)
6) Black or Chrome Power-Folding Tow Mirrors: $445 (Exterior Mirrors w/Heating Element, Mirror-Mounted Aux Reverse Lamps, Exterior Mirrors w/Memory, Mirror Clearance/Running Lights, Exterior Mirrors w/Supplemental Signals, Power-Folding Mirrors, Black/Chrome Exterior Mirrors, Exterior Mirrors Courtesy Lamps, Trailer Tow Mirrors)
7) Technology Group: $1095 (Heads Up Display, LED CHMSL Lamp, Rearview Auto-dim Digital Display Mirror)

3) Off Road Group: $840 / $795 (+$45)
4) Trailer Tow Group: $995 / $645 (Trailer Light Check, Trailer Reverse Steering Control, Trailer Brake Control, Trailer Tire Pressure Monitoring System. w/ASC-inc: Black Exterior Mirrors, Black Trailer Tow Power Mirrors, Trailer Tow Mirrors Trailer tow mirrors are not power folding. Trailer tow mirrors do not have surround view capability.
5) Black or Chrome Power-Folding Tow Mirrors: $445 (Exterior Mirrors w/Heating Element, Mirror-Mounted Aux Reverse Lamps, Exterior Mirrors w/Memory, Mirror Clearance/Running Lights, Exterior Mirrors w/Supplemental Signals, Power-Folding Mirrors, Black/Chrome Exterior Mirrors, Exterior Mirrors Courtesy Lamps, Trailer Tow Mirrors)
6) Technology Group: $1095 (Heads Up Display, LED CHMSL Lamp, Rearview Auto-dim Digital Display Mirror)

Rebel: (2021/2020)
1) Hemi 5.7L: $1,795 / $1,495 (+$300)
2) Hemi 5.7L w/ Etorque: $1,995 / $1,695 (+$300)
3) Black Tow Mirrors: $245 (Exterior Mirrors w/Heating Element, Mirror-Mounted Aux Reverse Lamps, Exterior Mirrors w/Memory, Mirror Clearance/Running Lights, Exterior Mirrors w/Supplemental Signals, Power-Folding Mirrors, Black/Chrome Exterior Mirrors, Exterior Mirrors Courtesy Lamps, Trailer Tow Mirrors)

5) Technology Group: $1095 (Heads Up Display, LED CHMSL Lamp, Rearview Auto-dim Digital Display Mirror)
6) Advanced Safety Group replaces Safety and Convenience Group: $1,695 / $895

Some Random Notes:
1) Looks like Rebel loses Trailer Tow Group. (this might be a mistake. trailer tow mirrors and brake controller now ordered a la carte)
2) No new color options across all trims
3) Can't get Power-Folding Trailer Tow Mirrors on Big Horn (this might be a mistake, as I don't see why Ram would omit them from their most popular trim)
4) Technology Group available across all trims (except Tradesman)

Last but not least, and most important, Ram hasn't officially released this information yet, so there are bound to be changes.

Very nice! I looked over some of the items on NADA as well. Hope its not true on the Laramie level 2 I didn't see wireless chargers listed. I find it hard to believe they would remove that feature.

Rebels did not lose the trailer tow group.

That's great if it's the case. As I said, I'm strictly going off NADA, which didn't have a Trailer Tow Group listed for the Rebel.
You're right, it's just NADA. And the 33 Gal tank is $445 on the Rebel (but not available as an option on NADA).

Prices and packages went up. Invoice on a 2021 Rebel optioned the way I want has now jumped to the MSRP of a 2020 Rebel optioned the way I wanted it due to price increases and new/combined packages. (Most options minus graphics, tonneau and Telematics)

Yep, that's around $71-$72K MSRP on a 2021 Rebel.

Esh, I guess I am officially old or just a frugal SOB but these prices are insane. When I saw this much on a sticker in the past I always thought it was a loaded 2500 or mid range 3500 but we are talking about a Rebel, granted a loaded Rebel but still a Rebel. I guess if people keep paying, they will keep raising the prices.

Yikes! Those August Rebates and Incentives

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It appears they stayed the same as July. Still $2K rebate for a Limited in my area (GA).

Based on that NADA website, looks like it’s still Uconnect 4 on the 2021s. :(
