Price negotiated from MSRP

Exactly, plus now Koons tags on the $1695 destination charge on top of the 'wow' price although I can't find any mentioning of that on their site, unless that is considered 'freight' ?--> "All prices exclude freight. All prices exclude tax, tags, and processing fee of $899. "

I recall other people mentioning That about the $1695 destination charge. You shouldn’t be paying twice for the destination fee. Have you reached out to Carl at Criswell Ram (sponsored on the forum)? His discounts are better than Koons, and has a cheaper processing fee. Carl’s discount on laramies is 13% off MSRP plus all applicable factory rebates at the time of delivery.

Thanks for that info, I'll shoot him an email
I purchased from Carl at Criswell. He is great. You can get an extra 1% with a treadlightly.org membership too. Make sure to ask him about it and he’ll explain.

I've noticed that some dealers don't list their discount on vehicles that are still in transit. If you look at their website, every Ram that they currently have on the lot has a dealer discount. And I'm pretty sure they are required to honor all applicable factory rebates that you qualify for. Looking at the current factory incentives/rebates for the Rebels, that can be up to $2,000.

yea i told them there are more rebates which theyll honor, but $0 dealer discount. They said these are “sticker” cars lol

I read in the Rebel sub forum people getting 20% off msrp on their Rebel

Criswell do same thing. They have the ePrice plus $1695 freight (destination) charge and $500 processing fee.

That’s not how my experience was (I didn’t use their website). The process fee is only $300. Here is their post from their vendor area:

Question for those building....
Some configuration aren't feasible and forced to alter the build when using the build page, but notice some vehicle on lots will have the configuration.
Is it possible that when going through a dealership with a build, they can make requests configurations that us general folks can not???? If the dealer submits an invalid configuration, will you be notified immediately or will the truck appear with items you don't want?

For what it's worth, it looks like Maryland law changed on 7/1/20 to allow dealers to increase their processing fee to $500. This is now reflected on the Criswell 1500 Ranch website. You may be locked into $300 with your order though.

Sure it's only a $200 increase but the constant nickeling and diming of this industry is very off putting. That's not a knock on Carl. I reached out and he was super helpful. I'm just seeing more and more trucks show up that I could live with and have nothing but time to wait for better cash incentives.

The Build and Price feature on the Ram Trucks website can be a bit wonky and unreliable at times. Like the other day I was building a Laramie and when I selected the Laramie Level 2 Package, it forced me to select the 3.6L V6 instead of the Hemi, which I know isn’t accurate. The dealers ordering system will always be the most reliable and up to date.

Agreed, I am back to where I was in 2018 when I first looked at the then brand new 2019's and in the end didn't purchase because incentives and dealer discounts just weren't happening. Let's see what happens when the 2021's come rolling in.

I was told as of 7-1-2020 processing fee is now $500 up from $300. Alex told me the website is usually slower to respond to brand new changes.

Any contacts I can reach out to and order a 2020 Rebel for 10-20% off msrp ?

I negotiated a good deal on a custom build 2020 Limited (MSRP $62,240 and I was looking at $55,100 OTD). Went in today to put deposit down and the order wouldn't go through. GSM called their FCA rep and he said orders are no longer being taken for 2020's. Unless I can find one "in-transit" built to my specs, it looks like I'll be looking at a 2021. They had ZERO info on the 21's.

Regarding poor rebates:
I noticed that RAM reported during Q2 2020 sales report that
"FCA's fleet volume remained low during the quarter, Kommor said, as the company prioritized vehicle deliveries to retail customers. "As a result, we have built a strong fleet order book which we will fulfill over the coming months," Kommor said."

They may have already sold the remainder of the 2020 production run which is why rebates are not getting better. Orders may have piled up during factory shutdowns and now we're seeing effects.

I'm still waiting to see when they do an official announcement for 2021 models, especially now that F150 has set bar for upcoming year. No word yet. Fingers crossed for end of year.

It's getting even more difficult now for a 2020. Every dealer (within a 7 hr drive) that I have contacted/negotiated with will only sale a Big Horn for $800 over invoice cost as it's lowest price (aprox. 2000 off msrp). No lower... all I hear is, "We still have to make a little money." They know they are not going to get in an abundance of new 20's while they wait a little over three months for the 21's to start trickling in, so I guess they figure people will pay what they want them to pay.

Figures  since I missed getting my ordered truck in by 2 days at 4% below invoice. ( i know it wasn't great but it sure beats the crap now)
lol, just my normal luck.

Well, maybe that new Ford will start looking good

this is a good deal, so approx 18-20% off msrp? What dealer is that?

Does your OTD include taxes & fees?
Can you break that down in more detail?

MSRP: $62,240
Dealer Discount: -
FCA Rebates / Incentives: -
Dealer Fee: +
Taxes: +
Title: +
License: +

OTD = $ ______

Just curious. Sorry it didn’t work out.

Yeah that is annoying . I was actually surprised it was only $300 when I did my deal. Dealers up here in NH & MA are typically $400 or more.

If my deal goes through without issues it sounds like I ended up timing it right. I almost waited to order until I knew rebates were better (instead of rolling the dice). I’m glad I didn’t. Here is to hoping Criswell doesn’t jerk me around when the truck finally arrives. *fingers crossed*
