Looks to be 22% off MSRP which is a good deal from what I've seen.
If you wait the truck might not be there...so there is that.

Nothing wrong with that. it's not June and those deals haven't come back, even though some hoped they might.
If you want a 20' they are still too new for really big incentives. Maybe the last few days of December could get you a better price, especially on a lot truck, but whose to say. Historically the dealers really try to push hard before the close of the calendar year. You should get the better of the rebates either when you ordered or when it comes in.
October sales unexpectedly slowed a bit including pickups and suvs. And when both cars and suvs slow they really need to throw cash on the hood. I wouldn't be surprised if more substantial discounts are offered over the holidays.

It might be good. Looked at Boyle’s CDJR in Georgia and they have a few 2500s that are 20k off (employee pricing and dealer price off). I have dealt with them before and their prices weren’t an all added rebate price like some the bait and switch dealers.

Rebates: $5,500 (that I qualify for in West Michigan)
Sales Price: $51,064 + tax, fees
It looks like this is about 21% off MSRP. Should I jump on this price, or try to negotiate with the dealer more? The problem is the truck is located in Maryland, so the dealer said he would split the shipping cost with me (about $400 or so for my portion).
Thoughts on this deal?

I came close to buying a 19 Laramie from Maryland several months back, I was going to drive out as we were working around a trade in, but how about flying out (under $200) driving back and having the dealer knock another $400 of the truck. Your $400, 1/2 the shipping, should cover flight, hotel, much gas and you get to drive it as opposed to an open shipping carrier.
Just a suggestion for 2 days of effort.

Thanks for the suggestion - I'm working with a local dealer here, and they are the ones that would be arranging the shipping. I haven't talked to or worked with the dealer in Maryland at all. My dealer just told me it's located in Maryland and sent me pictures of it off of that dealer's website. With my work travel schedule, there is no way I could take a couple of days to get out to Maryland and back.
Good reason, Enjoy the truck, it's very close to the 19 Laramie I drive that the local dealer went 310 miles each way to get. Luckily it was just close enough, so they sent an employee to get it as part of the deal. My guess would be it was a vehicle trade.
Great truck, enjoy yours.

This seems like a really good deal on an order. 16% dealer discount, or 14.5% if you subtract the extended warranty cost.
