Price negotiated from MSRP

Nice!

Which incentives were you able to apply other than the 15 percent rebate? I was under the impression that the big standard rebate cancelled all the other incentives.

Thanks!

You may be right about the incentives. I actually wasn't aware of that rebate limitation. Anyway, I didn't have a detailed discussion with them about the breakdown of the total discount. I negotiated the final price not including taxes & licensing that I knew was 26% off the MSRP. Only the 8,373.75 rebate was listed on the purchase order. For my post above, I just did the math based on the incentives I thought I qualified for which is how I arrived at the 5,929 dealer discount. I did think it was odd the incentive weren't listed on the PO. Based on what you're saying, it appears the difference was all dealer discount. Which is fine with me. I don't really care where the discount came from. Just wanted to hit 26%. Sorry for any confusion.

How much is your tax? Looks like you got $23k off MSRP, almost unheard of. Congratulations! My nearby dealers wouldn't even honor a $20k off on a similarly priced Limited.
In OK we pay tax separately, not as part purchase price. When we go get our tag, we pay 4.5% of the purchase price minus rebates but no used trade value here. The next year the tag is $99 and then drops every year from there. So in answer to your question, my tax will be about $2600.

I must be missing something, bought my truck for 58k with an MSRP of 70k back in March which to me was a pretty good deal.. How the heck are you guys getting 25-30%off now?? Is this only in a certain region or does this apply to dealers in California also?

My dealer was really up front with what they are doing. Essentially buying market share and going for volume with these deep discounts. When I saw their advertised price, it was so low I assumed it was stacked discounts with some I wouldn't qualify for.

The salesmen said "nope, that advertise 25% discount is what you will pay, no stacked incentives". Its working, they had so many trade-ins when I showed up from Ford and GM owners, including myself. When you consider the resale/depreciation effect, I'll probably be in the the black within 2 years of my loan. Buying this truck was a no brainer.

He also said that it's only until July 4th and then it's gone for a while. I suspect they will have it again in the future, probably next year when the all new F150 is released.

That seems pretty good! I had an offer today on a similarly equipped Limited, but with level 2 equipment group and no RamBox or tonneau. Everything else looks the similar. MSRP was $67,405 and lowest dealer offer was $48,398. Seems like a reasonable offer now that I see yours. More than I wanted to spend, but finding what I want in an in stock Laramie has been hard. Perhaps it’s worth pulling the trigger?

Limiteds don't have a Level 2 option. The base model of Limited has so much already included, there is only a Level 1 group that can be added. It has the stuff that is generally in the Level 2 group for a Laramie.

I would have gone for a Limited myself, if somebody at Dodge would have figured out that when I choose the Body-colored Bumper option, I PROBABLY want body-colored mirrors and grill surround, too. To me, a black Limited with the Body-colored Bumper option just doesn't look right with those chromed mirrors. That is, to MY taste. I can't figure why they don't at least give the OPTION for body-colored mirrors on a Limited. But I digress....

Pull the trigger!! Before it's too late! :D

Sorry, yes, you are right, it is Level 1, not Level 2. I went in looking for a Laramie they had on their website with Level 2, but it was already gone, so ended up looking at the Limited and the window sticker does say Level 1.

I am late to the game. Seeing these deals is making me crazy with truck mania! I just found out about this a few days ago and I don't have time to get my act together to pull the trigger by tomorrow. I wonder if the rebate will extend to July?

I’m interested in seeing that too. My suspicion is that it will, but the selection of trucks on the lot will be limited. Right now you can pretty much find any configuration that you want. By Mid July I suspect that won’t be the case

It has been a busy and exciting day; spent most of my Saturday driving around trying to get the right deal. Drove 1.5 hrs (Jarrettsville, MD )from home to pick up this bad-boy 2019 Ram Rebel 4x4 fully loaded MSRP $64.8K for $45.4K (30% discount) plus taxes, tags, and processing fees. I also financed with one of their local lenders with an APR of 3.69%. For those still on the fence remember that you have leverage, tomorrow (Sunday 6/30) is the last day of the quarter for FCA, dealerships want to push as much inventory out as they can. If you want 30% off MSRP just say so they will work with you, also point out that MSRP already accounts for destination fees in case they attempt to sneak it in the numbers. Good luck!Screen Shot 2019-06-29 at 10.06.50 PM.pngIMG_20190629_190138.jpg

Hi,

New member here but been following this thread for few months now and finally purchased a 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Crew Cab today in Billet Silver for 40K OTD and the MSRP is listed at 55K.

Also, I traded my 2015 Ram 1500 Big Horn, Crew Cab, V6 and 4x4.

2019 Ram 1500 Options:
Hemi V8 (non e-torque)
4x4 with Sport Appearance Package
Level 1 equipment group
LED lights
Front heated and cooling seats
Apple Auto & Android Auto
Upgraded Alpine Sound System
Off Road Package
Factory Rubber Mats

I was not aware of the Alpine Sound System until I got to the dealership. It doesn't say anywhere on the manufacture's sheet or on the dealerships listing and I guess I got a good deal?

That's a 20% discount, not bad at all.

Nice! That's the same dealership where I bought mine on Wednesday!

Congrats on the new truck! The guys at Keene Dodge were great, they made the entire process effortless.

So, what kind of wheels you got and MSRP v OTD?

No doubt! They were all super nice and easy to work with.

Congrats to you, too.

I got a Laramie Black CC 5.7 eTorque 4x4 with almost all the options.

Sticker was $66K. Price from them was $49K, including Destination and Processing fees (they had it advertised at $47K, but that did not include the fees). So, 26% off. I didn't even try to haggle on their price. Our haggling was all about my trade-in - an '09 1500 with 193K miles on it. Needless to say, they did not want to give me much for it. But, we ended up at a price that I thought was fair. And I bought a 5 yr/100K MaxCare warranty and a 10yr/100K Maintenance Plus plan from them at the same time, for $100 over their cost. I might possibly could have saved a few bucks doing things a little differently, but they were nice, easy to work with, and the convenience of getting it all done at a one-stop shop was worth it, to me. And I'm really not sure how much I could have really saved doing it differently, anyway. I think they gave me a pretty darn good deal.
