Hey all, looking forward to ordering my first Ram.

Does anyone happen to know approximately how much the Laramie Southwest package adds in weight? Trying to figure out an estimate for payload and can't find one similar to my build to check on the Ram site.

Looking at ordering this:
22 Ram 1500 Laramie 4x4 5'7" Crewcab
5.7 eTorque
Level A
Southwest Edition
Trailer group

Appreciate the reply.

Closer to 1400 would be great, but either way, should be better than the 1794 Tundra.

That’s a pretty basic build with the 23 gallon gas tank, no BUG, no ASG, no ventilated seats, no air suspension, no MFT, no RamBox.

I’d peg that build around 1525 lbs

1500+ would be perfect.

I did go back and add 3.92 gears and the anti-slip differential, but dropped my deposit and submitted the order.

@IvoryHemi pegged my payload on my semi-loaded Limited at between 1200 and 1300, based on my options, and my actual came in at 1267 (VIN lookup)...so yeah :)
Is there somewhere to go lookup 2022 Rams? I can only find a way to look up 2021s.

If you have a 33 gallon tank, it will lower it about 61 pounds.
I went with whatever is stock. I thought it was 26 gallons, but I'm fine with 23 gallons. Maybe even prefer it to keep some of the payload.

23 gallon is standard with eTorque, and 26 gallon standard non-eTorque.

You can order the 26g tank for $0

The payload weight “savings” is the 6.3 lbs/gal not in the tank, not so much the weight of the tank itself.

It’s not worth getting 23g over the 26g to “save payload”, you’ll still be in the neighborhood of 1,500 lbs either way

Gotcha. Thanks for the breakdown.

Probably won't end up modifying the order unless I have another reason to, like brown/beige interior becoming available. We generally stop every 2 hours or so when we travel and only drive about 4-6 hours a day, so 23 gallon should be plenty even when towing.

There are exceptions to that rule. For example, a Limited with eTorque comes with the 26 gallon tank standard.
