Anyone with the 2/4 Maxtrac or the 3/5 IHC have the power retractable running boards? They came with my truck and I don't think I want to remove them..

Anyone having issues fixing the camber after a 2/4 maxtrac drop? I've taken it to firestone 3 times and for some reason they can't seem to get the camber. They said it's normal for it to be this way since it's dropped. I have a friend who has the same kit and he is in the green with camber. What gives?

Also took it to mexico this weekend and i started to get a wobble past 80 mph. Would it be drop related or the fact that i got new wheels? I had the original 20 chromes and swapped them out for the 20 midnight edition ones.

Get a picture of the alignment bolts. The 4 bolts that hold the lower control arms to the frame. We'll be able to tell if they're maxed

Going to do a full write up on this tomorrow, and hopefully toss a video on the channel about the install on this one. This truck had a factory 1” lift from it so a few changes had to be made to the maxtrac 2/4 drop I used. @Snowman122 Mine aligned fairly well, I can snap a pic of the alignment sheet and where the cam bolts are set if you want. I’ve got a slight vibration at 70+ that seems the worst at 75 so I feel you there

Surprisingly i bought new tires and my shake went away. They said the inner side of the tires were bad and causing the shake. And yeah man that would be appreciated.

Someone on facebook said they machined their bolts to get a perfect alignment. I'm kind of scared to do this though.

Pretty sketchy, but not in an unsafe way, but in a way that allows for a shifting movement and not holding proper alignment angle

Mine aligned pretty well but i do get that wobble i believe that is from the drop the rear wheel has shifted forward in the wheel well just got my hellwig sway bar and will be ordering core 4x4 control arms and track bar to see if that helps

Let me know if it helps. I would love some feedback on the sway bar and the track bar.

Ok i got them. Sorry it took long. These 7/12s are killing me right now.

Yeah you're maxed.

Looking at your past alignment sheet, camber with you driving is probably around -0.9 on the left which isn't that bad honestly, but the right side probably -1.4, which is a touch excessive but still nothing crazy

As for the wobble, do you know for sure if your new wheels are properly balanced?

Yeah they're balanced properly and new tires as well. Either way i give up. I'm removing the maxtrac and I'm going with IHC. Should've went with them in the first place. I've used them before on an old silverado. First and last time I'm using maxtrac. Their support didn't help one bit. I'm going with the 3/5 non cut kit IHC. Probably will sell the maxtrac if anyone is interested.
