Big props and thanks to all who figured out replacing the CAN BUS-CONNECTOR.
Replacing the part was very easy. Here are the steps I took and some pictures for reference
1) Turn off all power with the start engine stop button
2)with fingers on the right side of the headlight and dimmer switch panel, gently pull and the panel will pop off.
3) about 3” behind the switch panel you will see the bus connector mounted to the left vertically. Slide the bus connector upwards to disconnect it from the metal mounting plate. Pull the bus connector with all wires connected outside the panel where you can access it.
4) take pictures of the wiring, just in case you need to refer back to it during the next step
5) you will now transfer each wire clip from the old bus to the new bus, one at a time, to ensure the clip goes into the exact hole on the new bus as the old bus. To remove the clip, insert a thin flathead screwdriver between the clip and the bus which depresses the latch on the clip, allowing the clip to pop out.
6) slide the new bus onto the metal holder plate.
7) press, the light switch panel back into place.
