Not sure why I have no dealer eta. That’s straight bull 1622306720579.png

I’m not a hater. I hope everyone gets their trucks sooner than later. I really can’t recall ever being so anxious in my life. This is the first new order for me. I’ve bought a few brand new vehicles but always picked one off the lot. This is a crazy experience. Women I don’t thing experience this. It’s like when I go to Home Depot and it flashes back to my childhood if going to Toys’R’Us
Women don't experience what? If you're talking about the anxiety when waiting for their ordered vehicle, I would bet you they do, I doubt that is specific to one sex.

finally went to d1 status est. delivery date 6/12/21
That's the first specific delivery date I've seen. Usually it's a two week window. Are you sure that's not the shipping date?

Sorry don’t mean to offend women. There are many women who also get excited in Home Depot. For me though the women in my life like hobby lobby stores and home goods stores. Sorry again. But 95 percent of men love Home Depot while probably 15 percent of women. It’s like the construction industry that I’m in. There are plenary of women more capable than many of the men that I work with. I have 100 percent respect for all women

Anyone used the $1000 certificate from the Chrysler credit card?

Do you know how long you need to wait to get the certificate?

Can it be combined with PenFed?

Know if this can be added at delivery to sold order protected incentives?

We are going to buy new kitchen cabinets (I think) next week and my build probably will be delivered sometime in July.

Crazy part is I think the credit card coupon only works for certain trucks. I will try for me Rebel when it shows up but my boy already hooked me up with 10 percent below sticker so I won’t push

More to the issue I’ll bet that particular sex is more anxious during sex as they wait

Congratulations to you brother. How long ago did your window sticker generate

Just saw my trade on website. They gave me 47k plus tax I’ll save is a little over 51k. It’s on their web site at 56,995. Kind of crazy cause the sticker was 59,565. 27k miles. Was loaded including duramax engine

Well hopefully I’m about two weeks out. Sooner would be awesome

It’s just annoying that they haven’t given me an eta on delivery

First world problems but I seem to put myself into the waiting game so much that I’m pretty numb to it these days. I’ve waited 4 days to buy an iPhone, lotteries for whiskey & beer raffles, concert tickets, refreshing pages for beer festival tickets, put down 5 $1000 refundable deposits at Volkswagen dealers for the MK6 and MK7 Golf R having no idea if I’d get one because it was so limited. I’ve even waited in virtual queues for rare coffee bean releases At Stumptown back when they were doing those. Some people do that and then flip the product for a profit but I never put my name in the hat for something unless I’m sure I want it. Pretty Meta, but even the times when I had a reserved pass to a Steve Jobs Keynote (2002-2011 era), me and my friends would still get in line at midnight just to make sure we got A close seat for a 9AM presentation to release products that we’d then line up to buy At the apple store 6 weeks later. The events were Live streamed but flying across the country to see Steve present things in person was just a fun vacation for me..LOTS of waiting.

LOL. So this truck thing hasn’t been stressful at all. In fact no one I know even knows I ordered a truck. i usually don’t talk about things until they’r “in the boat” because I’ve done so many releases / lotteries that I didn’t win that these days if I do a fly & drive or fly & ride some where, until I’m sitting on the motorcycle driving 500 miles home, I don’t talk about it cause so much can go wrong.

Hell, the guys delivering my truck to New Orleans tonight could have a break down or accident on the way to the airport. Nothing is for sure until I’m in the truck driving home. So in my head, the truck isn’t even mine yet….it’s just a piece of metal 1400 miles away.

I’ll know at 730 CST if this whole 9 month ordeal since I started truck shopping last year has actually come true.

I agree. 8-12 weeks to get a truck with everything you want...easy.

Used truck prices are scary high right now, I think because new inventory is so limited. I paid $31K for my 2012 Tacoma. I’m seeing comparable trucks listed for sale at $26-28K. Even if I only get $26K for it that’s only $5K depreciation after 9 1/2 years! That’s crazy!

Aydin at Auburn CDJR advised my order now in D1 status, expected to start down the assembly line on 18Jun.

I'm selling my 2008 Tundra for $20k. I bought it in 2010 for $27k.
