And did you confirm that it's remaining a 2021 model (not changing to a 2022)? This would mean that they're still working on 2021s during the week of 8/9.
Didn’t even think to ask that since I thought the ‘22’s were starting to be built 8/25 (based on the Donlans site).

So I went to the dealership to confirm. It’s actually Aug.18 (not sure if the 12 was a typo or whether it changed) but I saw the build date on the screen as 18th, and the VIN hasn’t changed so it’s still a ‘21.

Well that isn’t welcome news. Since you’re Canadian, I’m going to have to ask you to apologize now.

Pick up my truck today....... and what a great feeling. Had a nice little 250 mile break-in drive home. Looking forward to plan a road trip.

Also received my amp power steps too, after a 6 week delivery time.

Very Happy with this ride so far. Looking forward to the mods.

The long box is the way to go!

Long time lurker, first time poster. After a lot of hemming and hawing I finally placed my order for a 1500 Limited, yesterday. Received an estimated time of delivery as November. Very excited to be a part of the community!

Congrats. If you’d like to be added to the 2022 tracking spreadsheet, please provide the following (once you get it from the dealer):
  • Order date (as listed on your POC)
  • Last 6 digits of VIN
  • We’ve got your trim (Limited)

You’ll find it on this thread:

Interesting about the power boards not on the ecodiesel. I test drove a 21 Limited ecodiesel a few weeks ago and it had power boards.

Lol, maybe they meant it’s a “wait” issue, not a “weight” issue.

My '21 Sport I ordered back in February has now been up'd to a '22 according to my dealer as of Thursday. As soon as I get my new VIN I'll post it here.

Are you installing the AMP steps yourself, or having someone install it ? What model # did you buy?

Lol, I signed up for the brochure on Ram’s website a few weeks ago and just got something in the mail. No $1k coupon, but a nice printed brochure. For a 2020 Ram. Yep, that’s right - 2020.

Plug-n-play
It took about 3-4 hrs taking my time, making sure all wiring was nice and neat. Pretty straight forward install.
