I spoke to my dealer yesterday on the 2021 RAM Sport ordered late February and he said there is still no build date and in D Status (as it has been for months) You guys are saying they have until the end of August to complete 21's before switching over. With that, when do you think the latest I should see a D1 and build date pop-up? Does the status change happen weeks before the build date?

I do not know what others experience but mine when from D1 to done (build sheet) in about three days time. Once they start the build it only take a couple of days or so to build a vehicle. It took another few days to get the after build accessories (bed liner, running boards, etc) and then to shipping status.

Newbie checking in here. Just ordered my 2022 Rebel yesterday. I'll put the last 6 of my Vin here when I get it. Local dealer guessed Oct-Nov on arrival.

Welcome! Good choice on the Rebel. All other trims are inferior.

Update: order was placed last Night With Mark Dodge, and for anyone looking to place an order I got two very interesting bits of info from Aaron when ordering. He was not able to select Olive green on my 22' build. From what he told me its not saying the color is discontinued, it is just not able to be ordered, secondly and most importantly Apparently he just had A 21' ecodiesel Southwest Edition come in for a customer, WITHOUT the power Running boards. no one was aware of this until he saw the truck come off the hauler. Apparently their was a "Weight Issue" so the factory intentionally Stopped putting the powered boards on ecoDiesel builds. But no one was notified. and FCA have not made it clear that they would offer any consolation be it a discount to the package or the standard factory boards. he said it may get fixed for MY2022 but is not likely.

I'm going to be pissed if my Limited doesn't have them.

Is this true no matter the trim? I am waiting on an ecoDiesel Limited. It would be very disappointing for FCA to not offer some type of remedy.

Me too. I want power running boards for aerodynamics and because they're superior door ding defense.
They get low and will make it way easier for my kids to get up and in. From the post above, it sounds like it's a Ecodiesel thing. Which is weird.

Exactly what we said, I Could Hear the snarky Wince on Aarons Face when he said "Weight issue". i don't know how Extensively FCA did this, but Aaron AND his Ram Rep were completely in the dark until Yesterday when a customer ordered Laramie Showed up ( Sorry if its someone here and i just took the wind out of your sails). its not gonna make or break my build but if they ARENT planning on installing powered boards I intend on Fighting with FCA for a consolation Prize.

I'm struggling to see what "weight" has to do with power running boards. They can't weigh more than, what, 60 lbs?

Exactly, Again he found this out and started troubleshooting maybe an hour before we spoke to place my order, So im sure there will Be a Lot more information As Aaron and Other Pissed off Dealers/Owners Start Pushing for a rational and a fix

Well those boards are $1525 on MOPAR. The dealer can add the boards and bill FCA, or discount the $1525 + labor costs from the sale price.

If they won't do anything, I'm sure I can find a Toyota dealer who want to sell a Tundra TRD Pro.
