Plus with the borders closed for the past 15 months without knowing when it would reopen. Plus the hassle of having to switch it here with taxes and what not.

Currently all that has to happen to get your truck sooner is for it to identify as a migrant and cross the southern US border instead of northern.

Well my truck is getting to the dealer a lot sooner than I anticipated. Found my window sticker this morning and went on Ram Chat and they informed me my truck is in transit with a dealer ETA of 6/23-7/7. I emailed Aaron at Mark Dodge to confirm.

It might be the difference in builds. 1500 ram lonestare ,eco diesel, ram box,sun roof air ride. Mine is a 2022 vin. Which means probably late September delivery.

Yea, I ordered a “21” but my rep said that it would get pushed to a 22. I’m going through military auto source and I guess they don’t get as much information as an actual Ram dealership.

Hmmmm. I have the exact same truck except EcoDiesel and ORG, no Night Edition and don't even have a build sheet. Is ORG holding me up? Does that have any chips in it???

Do you have vin? My sales guy said the same at one point but then said my vin was 21. Who knows anymore. I did see an updated(on 05/20/21) order to delivery time was 12-14 was. Opposed to the 8-10 at time of my order.

Got a surprise call from Aaron this morning. My truck arrived at Mark Dodge! Aaron emailed me some pics too. We are going to get working on the shipping to PA tomorrow.

Thanks, this is helpful (though doesn't make me feel good.) I guess it's the ORG/E-locker holding me up. I've seen other Tech Group trucks go through with orders near or after me. ORG was an option I was waffling on getting.

Nope….I don’t even have a Ram order number. Just their order number through their system. He states that I probably won’t get one until next month.

Probably. Ram chat never gave me an ETA like others have gotten; they still say the same thing they told you. My dealer gave me my ETA.

Aaron listed it today & it was accepted right away. The truck is supposed to be picked up on Monday or Tuesday and delivered to my house on Friday or Saturday next week. I just hope the delivery doesn't turn into an episode of Shipping Wars

The 2022 orders really aren’t different from the 2021 orders. Once your order is established you’ll have a VIN - then it’s just a matter of when it gets built. You can tell what model year it is by checking digits 10-11. If its “NN”, then you have a 2022 model.
