Order Tracking

RAM Chat seems to only be able to tell you:

a) are parts available
b) is it in scheduling
c) it is being built
d) it's built pending accessories
e) in shipping

So over the course of 8 to 10 weeks there are only 5 statuses they can tell you and any hope of getting more details just becomes frustrating

I don't want much, is just like to walk along with my truck in the factory to make sure employees are happy, fed, and content on making mine the best off the assembly line 😇

I found it better to call them. They tend to be a little more helpful when they can. It's harder to blow you off on the phone than from a keyboard. Mine is still in the shipping stage, but they have an additional database that they can access.

Phone number used?
 
First post. These are the dates/status that I was able to keep up with:

1/28: Ordered; Tennessee
1/29: VON; D Status
3/7: Built; pending accessories; Build Sheet
3/21: window sticker
3/22: Shipping Stage. ETA 3/22-3/28, Dealer called and told me it could arrive this afternoon (unlikely) or later this week, but to "stay close to your phone"

I felt like I was stuck in limbo for the entire month of February while it sat in D Status. As many have previously mentioned, RAM chat only gave me the 5 sequenced generic responses. BUT I feel like it almost here and I am pumped!! I will update upon delivery but it looks like around 8 weeks from order to delivery.
 
Wish we had ram chat in Canada. All they give us is a phone number and they can’t do anything without a vin. Caught a ram chat agent off guard once and she was able to track status off my VON, any other time trying they notice I’m in Canada and won’t do anything for me. Ordered March 10, March 18 ram chat said BX status, but that was the last time they would help me. Not knowing anything is killing me, dealer said they won’t know anything until the vin shows up in the system.

You folks in the US don’t know how good you have it.

Ram sure seems to treat you Canada guys like red-headed stepchildren. It really doesn't make sense. You would think customer service is customer service. Sucks to be you, and I don't mean that in a snarky way, I really mean it seems super unfair and not great business practice. Good luck with your order, it will eventually be worth waiting for.
