Order Tracking

I was told today via Ram Chat that my order goes into D1 on 1 April.
3-11 ordered
3-12 VON
3-12 VIN
3-14 D
4-1 D1

Anyone having issues placing a factory order? It seems the Black Appearance Package and Dual Pane Panoramic Sunroof are on restriction...

A couple months ago someone posted a very detailed checklist. Now that I am picking mine up tomorrow, I can not find it. Anyone have a link to it?
I pulled that info earlier into a PDF for my reference. Will attach it. Just came direct cut and paste from the post.

According to customer support my truck was on a truck to the dealership last Tuesday. She didn't have any idea of how long it would take to get to the dealership. I've stopped asking my salesman for updates as he's useless and just keeps saying I'm sitting my delivery window of 6 - 8 weeks. We drove the dealer lot last night and no sign of my truck. This is the most frustrating part!

My order is so incredibly long, that i start to think my dealer had a kind of "slowliness" deal with the plant, like to save some bucks.
Is this even possible?

A longhorn delivery to Canada,
Ordered 11/27/2018, so 106 Days production !!
KZ Status 3/13/2019, that's 19 days that i wait for delivery!

On the build sheet i could see the following:
Sold Vehicle (--> Sold Vehicle means that the order is already sold, not an for inventory vehicle. It's the highest priority)
Special Scheduling Condition III
Special Scheduling Condition VII

Well, I was going to add my sad update, but Viking42 takes the cake!

My truck hit the railyard in Utah on 3/24 per my dealer. He indicated that they usually are only there for a few days, but couldn't guarantee delivery date (I have never had an ETA on this truck). I thought that was fair, but since this was my only opportunity to come down from Alaska and be able to make the drive home, I thought I would go for it. Got to Boise on 3/28, with a drive window until 3/31 (2700 miles).

Needless to say, truck is in railyard limbo. It may get here today, or on 3 weeks. Either way, it gets loaded up on ANOTHER transport and shipped to Alaska.

I'll get it one day, I hope.

It really makes you wonder, doesn't it. Mine was supposed to start the build process today, which is 102 days after my order.

I just looked to see if my build sheet was available just for laughs, surprise, it is. Does this really mean the truck is built? Its only been 2 weeks since I ordered, very skeptical it would be that fast.

You get the build sheet first. When it is finished with the build, you will get your Monroney

Ordered the truck on 3/14 and dealer called today to tell me it went to KZ status. 18 days!
At first I thought he was pulling an April Fool's joke but sure enough I can pull the build sheet. Dealer estimates 2 weeks transit time, I'm guessing more like 3w.

I ordered on 3/22/2019 and until today FCA couldn't give me any info on the order or its status. On today's call, they were able to tell me my truck is in D status and they were able to give me a partial VIN. Earlier in the week, FCA told me it took 7 days for the order information to show up in the system they had access to. Not sure how valid that info is, however.

Hello mkel2010,

Just FYI, our team is available via private message and can check your order as well.

Apparently I was mistaken last week. I thought my truck had been picked up at the rail yard in NJ for shipment to the dealership. It turns out that the truck was actually picked up in Michigan by a truck and is being shipped to NJ. Talked to the dealership and they can't track the it. There was some talk of calling their regional reps to see if they can find my truck but I'm not holding my breath. Next week will be 8 weeks since ordering so hopefully it'll show up soon.

I ordered 3/6 and my truck is unloading from rail in Mira Loma, CA tomorrow, 4/3, less than 30 days. Short semi ride up the state to my dealer. No idea why some are so fast while others take so long.

Picked up my truck on 3/30/19! Shorting up my signature so here is the summary:
Ordered 2/19/19
"in scheduling" and VIN assigned 2/22/19
D status - 2/28/19
D1 status - 3/2/19
D1 Status - 3/8/19 "That stage does involve collecting the parts but there are other things that happen as well, its the "planning" phase or scheduling as we call it"
KZ Status - 3/12/19 "Vehicle has been approved for shipment but shipment arrangements have not yet been completed and no ETA has been attached to the vehicle as of yet."
- 3/14/19 shipment not started, no ETA.
- 3/18/19 "ETA- N/A Status: Shipping(KZ). Days in 008. Location Unavailable. Currently your vehicle has reached the shipping stage but has not been provided an estimated time of arrival date (ETA) at this time I would advise to check back next week to see if an update has been provided, please be advised that we are trying our best to get your vehicle delivered as quickly as possible but it can be in this status up to 30 days." Me - "Thanks, does that mean it has not been shipped out of factory yet? Not started the journey to CA?" RAM Chat "That means it is in transit to your dealership."
3/22/19 - ETA is 3/26/19 to port plus 3 days to get to dealership.
3/30/19 - Picked up vehicle from dealership!

Most of the time this means your dealership has their head up their ***.

This is what I heard today about the Pano and Black appearance package:

"The Rebel and the Laramie blackout/sport are not available with the eTorque engine and panoramic sunroof for order at the moment due to the weight restriction issues. It has to do with the weight of the hood which is not availabe on the Limited trim model. It seems they don't have a definitive date on when this will be resolved at this time."

One would think by now all this issues would be resolved....

Finally picked her up yesterday. Everything looked great except the backup camera was DOA. Ordered Feb 9, Picked up 4/2.
