Official thread for pictures of Ram towing campers

How does it feel towing? Is that 30ft?
It felt fine. The camper is 28' but the whole thing is 34' from ball to bumper. I felt a slight tug towards 18 wheelers when they passed me but that was it.

The truck is not stock though, I've modded it for better towing.

Mine is 26' but sometimes you can feel like the weight is a little much for the truck. I always have had a class a prior to this.

Not towing just a great spot on Elk Lake in Northern Michigan.

Looks awesome. I think we're planning to be around Torch Lake next summer. We'll have to check it out.
We prefer Elk over Torch. I am biased and grew up in Elk Rapids. If you want any advice for the area hit me up. We love Northern Michigan summers, plenty of good places to camp and still see what the area has to offer.

2019 Lone Star Hemi, Escape 5.0 fiberglass 5th wheel. 5,000 pounds, tows like a dream.

We haven't made any firm plans yet. Would be nice to have a lakefront site, but not even sure those exist.

Not many have lakefront sites, Lake Leelanau RV park has sites on Lake Leelanau. There are a few state parks further north that have water front sites, even Interlochen has some on the water. None on Torch or Elk Lake unfortunately.

Gotcha. Maybe we'll try to set up at Leelanau and rent a boat for one of the other lakes.

I have some sag not sure its because I took this in the line to dump or did nine chain lengths instead of the 10 I used coming to the campground I dont think it looked as bad on the way here and the fresh tank was half full and emptied that for the trip home may need to pick up some air bags it also swayed alot on the way home as well
