My trailer is 5300 lbs dry so a PantyStar (8110lbs max) would cut it close. I have had no problems with my trucks and apparently the I6 S/O will be around 11,500 lbs max tow. I’m not sold on the hurricane in a ram just yet which is why I pulled the trigger on a 24. I also knew the prices would be even more ridiculous than they are now. Sure enough the pricing came out, and a 25 rebel is literally 20000 more than a 24!! Insane. Personally I think dropping the V8 along with these crazy prices might hurt them a bit.
 
I think the inline 6 is gonna tow pretty well. my '19 laramie 5.7 was a great truck and towed our 6000# trailer well with the 3.92 and 33 gal tank but I bet the new motor will be fine. for me tho, I still prefer a v8 in 1500 if I'm gonna work it.
 
And the air suspension probably leveled out the truck.

I have a KS Passport maybe a little smaller than yours 29'10" from hitch to bumper I really need to get it weighed maybe on my fall trip so I can see what loaded weighs food booze and clothing

Any idea on your hitch weight?
According to my CAT scale calculations, I'm at 860 lbs. tongue weight. I'm using an Eaz-Lift TR3 weight distribution hitch with 1200 lb. bars. So far, I've only towed it 5 miles home from storage. Seems okay so far. I just bought this truck a few weeks ago. I used to pull this trailer with a lowered 2017 Silverado crew cab 2WD 5.3L. So far, I'm liking the extra 40hp from the Hemi, and the 3.92 gears (versus 3.42 in the Chevy). I'll be towing this rig about 50 miles later this evening. I'll let you know how it goes.

I'm happy to report that this weekend's trip went very well. About 100 miles round trip. 70% 2-lanes @ 55-58mph, 30% interstate @ 66mph. Winds < 10mph. Trailer was very stable. Ride was very good. Definite improvement overall compared to my Silverado. Regarding the Eaz-Lift TR3 WDH, I'm pleased with its performance. Much better than the Blue Ox I had two years ago (1000 lb bars). TR3 has much less porpoising than Blue Ox, and it's much easier to set and release the bars.

do you have to remove bars when backing?

WDH with no sway bar (thinking about getting one due to high winds last trip)

I recently sold my 21 Chevy 2500 HD and picked up the ram. For the couple times a year I tow the trailer I was tired of the stiff ride and 10mpg as a daily driver. Chevy had no features, not even power seats. So far I love the ram and it has towed nice for three trips all within 2 hours each way. 16mpg average with 9.5ish towing.
