Haha I've been on the front lines of this thing here on the forums and on Facebook for a long time. I think I was one of the first to notice here when I was looking up leveling kits. People gotta have what they paid for! Just been collecting information that has helped me or helped others. There have been lots of contributors.

I do alot of my own wrenching so I am familiar with cross referencing parts and banging my head on a wall trying to match up obsolete part numbers and parts that don't cross reference and parts that should be cross referenced. I hope that RAM isn't as miserable as Fords were to locate part numbers.

I understand that. They don't make it easy for shade tree mechanics anymore!

Thanks for the info. 8 hours is what she told me to expect due to the procedure being never done at this dealership. She said the tech bulletin reported 5.1 hrs. I can live with 8 hours if that's what it indeed will take.

Thanks for the invoice. Just curious, did you put the ORP springs back on that were in the recall instead of just keeping the BILs? I think the BILs would have been WAAY better!

Thanks, I love the truck and hope this is an isolated incident. I felt like I was in an episode of Seinfeld where he goes to rent a car and they don't have one. He says, "Isn't that the reason for a reservation, to make sure a car is available?"

Make an appointment to be told they don't have room for me...like isn't that exactly the reason for an appointment! Then I was told they could have given me a loaner car while my truck was in the shop. I'm like, ok I'll just leave the truck then and take a loaner. Sorry, we don't have loaners today...

Bilstein 5100’s with the the ORP springs together. Bilsteins on setting #5 with the Off road springs should get you around 3+ inches . I didn’t know about the recall at the time I put my Bilsteins on and assumed they were the ORP springs . I seen that someone with the same truck a BTS was at 37” from the fender to the ground before putting his lift on . I was at 36” so I went and checked the part# on my springs and found they were not the ORP springs

Waiting for the Springs to be replaced with the W95 Recall, Also have 1.5" wheel spacers getting put on at the same time.

Can you take a picture of your spring tags?

Edit: I was going to cross reference just in case you didn't have the full list but I was able to find it. I'm sure you already have but just triple check with these numbers to make sure. You can also use this as ammo if you want.

@RamCares I know you've helped myself out and others but can you review this? It's pretty apparent that @Gorlasar's truck does not have the proper equipment per this list.

I did just have the recall done on the springs replacing the springs to the ORP springs

So, let me ask you this...

It might be hard to say since you already put aftermarket shocks on but with the new ORP springs, do you notice a difference in ride quality? As my rig sits right now totally stock minus the springs that are supposed to be on them, I actually like my ride quality. My truck will most likely never go to the extremes of true off-roading so I'm kinda on the fence about getting the work done as I am sure it will somehow affect the ride quality and road noise.

I have to admit that I am also a little apprehensive being the guinea pig for this dealership especially reading that another dealership put them on backwards and other shops have forgotten bolts. My type A personality though tells me that I paid for a truck with a raised ride height and dammit, even if that rig never sees dirt, I'm a gonna git what I paid for!

I bought my truck about a month ago and as my regular computer is down (9 month old HP still under warranty ) and am using a backup laptop , i havent been able to down load any photos , but here are a couple. I got my Eibachs put on the same time as my ORP springs. I like the ride better. 95% of the people I've seen on Facebook have not had any issues with their ride quality after having the work done without also getting different shocks.

Does anyone have the part number for struts on the front of our rigs? I want to see if my front struts are correct on my rig. I'm really tired of arguing with Ram about the ride quality of my truck so I'm trying to dig up some more info on the struts that we are supposed to have to pair to the 68320250AC springs. They can't give me a clear cut answer so I'm going to investigate further if the issue I'm having right now is due to the strut being the wrong one for the truck.

Also, the fastest way to tell is if they have that green label. Don't kill yourself trying to find the number. The regular shocks have a red label.
