I can’t guarantee anything, but the way the harnesses are spec’s, I don’t see why not. All ‘22 Bighorns use the same parts for this mod regardless of other options (see previous posts for part numbers, which you should verify).

I bought an Android device, and ordered the security bypass and OBDII reader. I should be able to enable mine soon. I have a Big Horn, LVL 1. I think the only key difference is your truck has the Hemi.

Ok i will take my tailgate apart and look at the wiring. Im not sure how its going to show up on my dash screen because i have the base small screen .

Yeah i hope somebody knows , i dont want to spend money if it doesnt work but im betting it should even if its just a symbol like when it shows my doors or hood open like the old style.

I have not confirmed these parts work--yet.

Per Mopar Parts Surplus, 68311435AD is for 2019, and 68467817AA is for most 2020 to 2023 models (which includes my 2022 Bighorn). As mentioned in other posts in this thread, 68311435AD has worked for others making this mod.

I had surgery on my hand. Once I am able, and once I have the parts and have time to install, I'll confirm back to this thread. I assume this will take until at least until mid-March. My point in posting now is to show there is another part out there.

I can now confirm everything worked for my 2022 Bighorn Level 1. I bought the harness for my year model noted above.

I can also confirm that opening the tailgate also now activates my bed lights. An added bonus.

I can't guarantee it, but I had a gen4 that it showed on the small screen. Same little truck showing doors, also showed tailgate. Who knows whether the 5th gens do.

4th gens don’t have tailgate ajar sensors. They just have regular mechanical latches operated by the rods from the handles.

I guess I've had too many to differentiate. One of them had the small dash, with the gate ajar. Maybe even a 3rd gen? I know it didn't have electric release.

I do have the dampened and locking tailgate ,it gets a signal to lock when i push the fob key ..

I believe all 5th gens do that.

Got the bed lights and harnesses and also tailgate harness and right tailgate latch installed and activated with Alfaobd. Also now have my fog lights on with high beams after activating this. Shoutout for all the help and everyone being patient with me.

Thanks to everyone who contributed on this. Super easy mod, took about 30 minutes all said and done including flipping the 2 switches in Alfabd. $77 in parts with tax.

Thank you everyone for your help! I just got AlfaOBD and everything to connect it to my truck. The build sheet for my truck said, "Tailgate AJAR Lamp," but it did not work. I connected everything to the laptop and it said:

CBC Config IO F Pin 26 Connector F Pin 26: NO
Trunk/Liftgate Ajar Signal Input Present: YES

I changed the "CBC Config IO F Pin 26 Connector F Pin 26" to "YES."

Everything works now!

Installed the latch and new harness for tailgate, had someone enable with AlfaOBD but get nothing in drive and this pops up in reverse. Needless too say something ain’t right lol

Mine does this too, but it shows the image of the truck with the tailgate down in "D."

Man I really want this for my '21 Laramie. I've lost a cooler full of gear because I didn't realize my tailgate didn't full close and opened while driving.

One thing I did notice today after I got to work, I went to lock the truck and the marker lights did not blink. The only other thing I changed was the fog light dropout.

Took apart my tailgate found only two wires on my harness. So i guess i need to buy the latch and harness.
