New 5th-Gen 1500 Fuse / Relay / Circuit Breaker Diagrams & Documentation

F33 and F66 based on whether you want battery power or accessory power.
Would this be on the in cab panel or under the hood? I don’t remember seeing these on the under hood panel

Hello all,

I joined this forum to THANK the OP - @HAL9001 for creating this thread and the other one with the detailed fuse layout that is in HAL's OP. Also, thanks to all the other posts with information regarding the electrical freak-out that these trucks may exhibit.

I inherited my late brother's 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie recently. RIP bro :(

I started it up at his house and drove it to my house about 10 miles with no problems. When I went out to start it again a few days later, I got the "FREAK-OU" similar to this video here:

(again, this is not mine)

I then googled the issue and ran into this forum and this thread in particular. I took the fuse box panel off and pulled and checked some of the fuses in question. I didn't see anything necessarily wrong and replacing some of these fuses did not help. I also read that it is possible the alternator/bus/harness/etc was not allowing the battery to get a full charge (or may be out right defective). I checked the batter with a meter and it was close enough in my book to be considered a good battery but I decided to replace it anyway. That immediately fixed the problem. I've started it maybe 10 times in the last two weeks flawlessly. How long that fix holds, I have no idea. It could randomly pop up again. Because I do not want to deal with this while driving, which appears to have happened to people, I'm forced to sell it - which will be a sad day.

I just wanted pass this on and again, thanks to all info in these posts.

Great info.. My wiper washer is not working and I am not seeing a fuse for that on my 2019 Ram Rebel. Do not here the pump at all trying to work. Any idea if there is a fuse for the pump. Thanks
I know this 3.5 years old but I didn’t see an answer on the windshield washer motor fuse. It is not listed in the manual but at least the switch goes through F31 (Interior Lights) in the under dash fuse compartment. I found this out while chasing another issue with interior lighting.

The washer pump is driven by the body control module. The best I can tell is:
BCM connector C1/A, pin 15, BN wire, goes to connector XY110A pin 4, from there to the washer pump connector pin 1. Pin 2 is the BK ground wire that connects to the G922A grounding point.

Looking for a little assistance as to if there’s a fuse to disable the LED light built into the tailgate handle. Long story short, my tailgate module is bad and I have no access to the tailgate and the light is staying on constantly. The dealer was able to diagnose it and manually get the gate open somehow to temporarily disable the module as a new one is back ordered, but on the drive home today whatever their fix was didn’t hold and now the light is back on.

Short of unhooking the battery every night I was hoping to locate a specific fuse. The only thing I see that looks to power that is F30 on the interior fuse panel, but that also apparently controls the drivetrain control module. Something I don’t think would be happy if I pulled the fuse and tried to drive it.

2022 Laramie GT with the MFT.

I’m curious to why u have no access to the tailgate? I did see u said the module is bad does that mean u can not drop the tailgate as well?

It may come straight from the module. Maybe disconnect the light from inside the tailgate.

Correct. The tailgate does not function at all. Lock/unlock does not work and the buttons to drop it or open it barn style are not working. The dealer somehow was able to manually open it and got to the module to diagnose and confirm it. They did a “fix” to stop the light from being on while we wait for a new module and it was off when I picked up the truck yesterday, but when I got home it was back on. Whatever their temporary fix was didn’t hold.

Ideally that would be great if I could get into the tailgate manually.

Dam that sucks I do t n ow of a fuse to disable the tailgate area. Maybe if possible unhook the battery and let it sit until module comes in

Yeah that's what i've been doing each night. Fortunately it's LED so the power draw is low, but still an inconvenience. The only fuse I found in the manual is also connected to the drivetrain control module, so I doubt I could pull that and run with it.

Yea that doesn’t sound plausible. Any eta on the new module?

Not yet as it’s on national back order. My SA was going to try and see if she could locate one at a dealer in stock. I’ll give her a call Monday and see what she was able to find.
Dam well finger crossed there is one in stock somewhere for u!

Maybe try a junk yard. Oreilly and autozone sells used parts too

Yeah I’d be all over looking for one if it weren’t a warranty repair. I’m at the mercy of the process at this point. I did do a quick 2 minute search and didn’t find any in stock anywhere.
