Never have gotten 12" software update

I am also one of those who hasn't received an update, though I haven't been to a dealer to address. I also haven't had the miles on Mopar.com update since 6/19/19 of last year. Probably also explains why the Uconnect app didnt work. Going to take her in to the dealer soon for oil change and rotation and to look at that (as well as replace a light fixture in one of my Ramboxes).

Funny enough, last night, I was prompted for a software update. That happened after a trip to the dealer (as I mentioned above) last Thur/Fri. Now I am on 20.06.13.

Same here. Got the update this evening when I was driving to the car wash. (I didn't use my car since Sunday) Now on 20.06.13. But my NAV map still on the 2017 Q2 version.

For what it's worth, the update now allows me to search via 4g online in the nav. I never could do that before.

I bought my truck in Dec 2019 and have never received an update. Yesterday when I got to work and shut off the truck I noticed something popped up on my screen and before I could read it I had opened the door and the screen went blank. I did notice SOS in the message. Any idea if this was a notice to upgrade software? Since then it hasn't come back.

If it came up on your screen it will have automatically installed. Just check the version by holding the bottom left and right buttons simultaneously on the screen. Not the hard buttons, but the ones actually on the screen (left-most and right-most quick menu icons).

So I decided to update the system. Works the same as before for me, flawlessly. I only use Apple CarPlay for navigation so I’m good. Now to wait and find out if a 12” screen is coming out with uconnect 5 and if I’m able to swap it in my truck?

The message did reappear and asked me to schedule the update. Since I was at work and need my truck to drive around the site I scheduled it to download after I got home. Will check in a little bit to see if it updated.

I was having CarPlay issues so I just checked my versions and I'm still on 18.27.17 and EQ 3.4. I'm not driving my truck much nowadays, so it may take longer to get prompted for an update. Someone in another thread said they pushed an HVAC update in this version. Anyone with first-hand knowledge of this? My HVAC isn't terrible, but it could always be colder on these 95+ F humid days here in the south.

Man, I was going to say something about the HVAC but I left it alone. I swear I feel it blowing harder and a bit colder. I guess I was right.

How can I force it to do an update, or where can I download the update and install it via USB? I upgraded to the 12C in my truck but I should still receive updates through the receiver module, correct?
