Mopar’s “Ram Airflow” Cold-Air Intake System For Ram 1500:

A part number would very much be appreciated, thank you in advance for doing so.

This place is showing it for $700.94 + a little over $20 for shipping. I’m not ready to order until I see some reviews, but it does let you get to the checkout page. Too good to be true??

Now I dealt with them before about an order. All went well until the next day when I was sent an email stating there was no ETA and if I still wanted to place the order. I’m not saying they are a bad company, just would have liked them not to have taken my order just to place it on back order lol.701B1B2E-2EF1-46A1-86D3-0A4837853DD7.jpeg

Will wait for some reviews from the few who have it already but it does look good.

Did you take the plunge? Maybe call them before placing the order to make sure they’re not pulling a bait and switch on you? It’s by far the cheapest price I’ve seen.

^^^. Lol it’s not that serious for me so I can wait. Right now I’m looking into an entire front end swap with LongHorn parts.

Install done! Took about 45mins to an hour. I took it on a quick test drive and I can say I feel the difference immediately! Also sounds great! My next step is exhaust. Once that's done I'm sure I will be ever more pleassed!

So you’re all stock minus this performance wise ?

Is the sound pretty much the same as other CAI where you don’t really hear it much until you get on it?

Yes. its pretty quiet as it is unless you get on it. But vs stock when you get on it... There is a BIG difference. I can only imagine how it will sound when I get some exhaust.

Which exhaust are you looking to add to complete this ?

Honestly I don't know at this time. With the lift and the exhaust in the last week, I'm not willing to fork out much more money into it till about a month or so. But I haven't even started looking. Does anyone know if Mopar makes a kit for this truck? I would like to keep it within Mopar when I do decide.

Yes they do and it was one of the ones that I had owned and pulled off already. The part number is in my signature.
