I do believe they were cut from the quad cabs a couple of months ago. Sorry. Maybe the dealer can add them for you for no charge since when you ordered it you thought you would get them?

When I ordered my quad cab backcountry it listed the side steps in description of backcountry package,now looking at website it only shows the steps in the crew cab backcountry package. I have a feeling I will be disappointed when my truck arrives. I am already a little upset the granite was not available for the quad cab,and no I do not want or need a crew cab

Yeah, they (Ram) really want to push a person towards the Crew, don't they? I'm trying to wait until the 23's are released to see how the offerings change. I really don't want a Crew either, but they really limit the color choices on a Quad.

If the step bars are listed at the time of ordering (I received a printout from the order system that listed what was included in each package), it will come with them. If not, well you know what that means...

In my case when I ordered a Quad Cab Backcountry it wasn't until I got home and read through the printout I noticed the step bars weren't listed and learned that RAM quietly dropped a $600+ dollar option from the Backcountry and didn't change the price of the package!

Thanks for the pics. Really helps while waiting for mine. I almost ordered a Hydro Blue but was hesitant without seeing one in person. Looks so much better two tone with black on bottom. Must say it looks great and now kinda wishing I ordered that color. Oh well. Granite Crystal isn’t too bad either.

I was down to Hydro Blue or Delmonico Red, leaning towards Hydro. I was lucky to find my truck.

When I look at the pictures, all I can see is the front needs to be leveled!

The back end does sit a little high. I noticed that on others. Normally I run a topper so that extra weight leveled my trucks out a bit but sticking with the tonneau cover on this one.

Any suggestions for leveling kits. I may consider that down the road at some point.

I misspoke You're right, it's the description of the packages in the ordering system that is the official record of what's included.

I agree the website and configurator are a bit misleading but I'm sure there's fine print that says specifications can change at any time and to consult with your dealer, blah, blah, blah. What really gets me is dropping the step bars from the Backcountry package and still charging the same price.

The dealer may try to make it right but the only real power you have is to walk away.

I'm 50/50 on the side steps, not really a fan of the looks of them, but they are great functionally. They collect a lot of dust on the country roads, but save the body from rocks kicked up. I'll probably swap to some tube rails with steps next year.

Never been a real fan of steps either. I must say they are some nice steps. Big non slip surface that makes getting in and out a whole lot easier on my back. A better than average step for blocking debris flying up too. I may well buy a pair whenever I place my order. Has anyone seen these after a couple of years? Do they hold up?

I’ve had steps on my last three trucks. Only time I hate them is in the winter when they collect so much snow and ice. Otherwise I like them a lot.

Same... I just worry about the impact to ground clearance. TFL Offroad has two reviews where they scrape them on rocks. Does anybody who has their truck already know if they hang lower than the rest of the truck? Looking at pics and videos it looks like they might by like 0.5-1"
Might not be a problem since I ordered a quad cab lol
They were definitely still listed for quad cab when I ordered in early March.
