So the overlanding and off-roading bug bit me and I am planning to transform my mall crawler to off-road rig. in hindsight I should have bought a rebel.. but o well. currently evaluating the BDS 4" with Fox 2 shocks and later down the road will go with 35 inch tires (BF KO2) with 18 inch wheels (undecided).

dumb question.... with the 4 inch kit and later with 35 inch tires, how much higher the truck will actually sit? need to figure out after all this jazz if she would clear the garage door opening!!
and can i still run my stock 22 s until i get the new tire/wheel package? i am guessing yes, but not sure.

for people running 35's and have a spare 35, does that fit under the cab where the current spare is mounted?
I’m in the same boat with the overland build but I do have the rebel. I’m thinking of keeping the 18 with 35s big rubber look. But can figure if I want 4” or 6”. I really want the fox adjustables just on the 4” bds. Decisions!

You can fit 35s with just a level on the Rebel. That’s what I have. Looks great.

From what I have read, anything above 4 makes it too much too heavy especially if you are planning for RTT.

My truck is about 82” tall so it still fits in my 7ft garage door with a big hump leading into the garage too

Does this count? It’s a BDS package but mostly Fox.

Hey what size lift and tires are you running? I can't see signatures on the tapatalk app. I like that it still has a rake to the stance.

Fox 2.5 coilovers, Fox 2.0 rear shocks, ORG rear springs, 18x9 Fuel Vector gun metal wheels 0 offset, 35/11.5/18 Falken Wildpeak A/T tires.

So that is 2” up front and 1” in the rear due to ORG springs.

0.75” rake although that photo makes it look a little more.

The dealer just told me today that only way to fit 35/12.5/18 is to get the BDS 4 inch lift or ready lift 3.5 inch. Guess I need to find another shop. I don’t mind the BDS, but with 6 inch between the lift and the tire and then a RTT, I doubt she will fit through the garage door. Sigh.

She looks great! Im hoping someone can stand one of these next to a Stock truck so we can see the side by side difference of jumping 4 inches and larger Tires

Until I can get a picture, here is as close of a comparison that i can give you of my truck. Perspectives are off a little.

I’m surprised as we both have the BDS lift and the same wheels size and offset, the main difference is I’m running 35x12.5 and you are 35x11.50 and your tires appear to stick out further then mine.

I doubt the 12.5 width would work as I still had to trim with the 11.5. I’m as stuffed as you can get lol

Are your rims the same offset and width as his? Same manufacturer I see but are the specs the same as the Beasts he’s running as I’m leaning toward the Beasts and was wondering do I go with 11 1/2 or 12 1/2 tires.
