I haven’t put enough miles on them yet to give a full review, but initial thoughts is the truck rides like stock... and the fact that the truck rides like stock after a 4” lift, bigger heavier tires, etc I’m happy! Still rolling with the stock shocks up forward, but may look to swap those out at some point.

People that are running bigger tires are you recalibrating your speedometer or just letting it ride? I’ve been debating about the rough country speedometer calibration tool, but have heard it will disable park sense. I have 3.92 gears.
Oh ok gotcha. Yeah my truck rides like stock too so I didn’t know if the Fox shocks made a noticeable difference. I’m just running a 2” spacer in the rear and it’s 100% like stock.
Also I haven’t recalibrated because I personally feel like the pros outweigh the cons. Pros: your odometer will actually record less miles, so you’ll eventually have thousands less miles on the odometer than you’ve actually driven, which will help resale value & length of warranty. Cons: you won’t see the accurate speed or mpg. The truck shifts perfect with 3.92s and no calibration. It gets into 8th gear no problem whatsoever.

Yea I don’t see a huge difference right off the bat, but I’m happy with the purchase of them.

I was actually thinking the same. I had 35s on my last truck and never recalibrated. I never had any issues with it and with this truck I don’t feel any difference with shift points. Simple quick math and I know how fast I’m going so leaning towards just leaving it as is.

None whatsoever, and it's been off-road plenty...

Inspired. So I ordered BDS 4” with rear Fox, Fuel Rebel 20x9 with +1 offset in anthracite, and Falken Wildpeaks 35x12.5. Now waiting on parts. Will post pics when done.

In the meantime, any tips, tricks, or suggestions?
Kind of personal but how much was this whole set up ?

Hello,
How do you like the -44mm offset? I just ordered some wheels -44mm and having second thoughts that the bushwacker flares might not cover. If that is the case I am nervous about getting pulled over, inspections and messing up the side of the truck.

Thanks!

Loved em! Never hassled from the cops. Rock chips will happen no matter what offset!

I am positive that if you do the BDS lift front and rear that the truck will still have some rake to it. If you want it level or maybe a little nose high I would suggest ordering the rear half of the 4” lift and the front half of the 6” lift (yes you can order everything individually, I did it too)
actually BDS lifts 5 in the rear and 6 up front so the rake is almost gone

Yeah but the trucks typically ride 2-2.5” high in the rear from factory, so you’re still going to have some rake

I can let you know for sure when i get the kit installed in a few weeks but their site says from is 6" up front and rear is 5" springs to level the truck. Also too many tacos on here has this kit and he's pretty close to level. All your weight is up front so there will be Slight rake but nothing like stock. Once I get it installed I can take some measurements if no one on here has already

6” BDS with Fox rears. Was supposed to be a 4” lift. BDS sent the wrong kit and the ship didn’t pay attention to it. Was going to swap it out but I like the extra height. Will eventually swap gears and go to 37s to fill it out better.

Might be a little off topic but im trying to keep things going. Does anyone have any info on when BDS will release their 4 inch with air ride for the 2020's? Iast time I heard the 2019 kit did NOT fit the 2020 air ride.

Best looking wheels on a truck. Ive always been a fan of the BBS RS wheels Might have to copy this wheel setup. Your truck looks great!

Just ordered my bds 4 inch lift to go on the 2020 longhorn woth 22 stock rims. Cant wait but have been trying to dig as much as possible if i should spend to find 20 inch rims or just put new tires on thr 22s. Looking to go 35 inches. And keep the ride quality as good as possible. How has power loss and mpg lost been for everyone here? Anything considerable. I got the non coilover version due to rough winters in new england.

My suggestion is to go with a set of 20” wheels paired with 35x11.50 tires. As far as the loss of mileage, all I can say is I knew what I was getting into by adding that extra weight. :)

So the overlanding and off-roading bug bit me and I am planning to transform my mall crawler to off-road rig. in hindsight I should have bought a rebel.. but o well. currently evaluating the BDS 4" with Fox 2 shocks and later down the road will go with 35 inch tires (BF KO2) with 18 inch wheels (undecided).

dumb question.... with the 4 inch kit and later with 35 inch tires, how much higher the truck will actually sit? need to figure out after all this jazz if she would clear the garage door opening!!
and can i still run my stock 22 s until i get the new tire/wheel package? i am guessing yes, but not sure.

for people running 35's and have a spare 35, does that fit under the cab where the current spare is mounted?
