Has anyone installed it with the front camera?

I just installed this grill last weekend. I am also planning to retrofit Surround View cameras and I have figured out what bracket is needed for the front camera mount. It’s actually the same bracket as the OEM TRX grill.

Here it is without the camera installed. I have some pics of the install and how I secured the wiring for the LEDs

I drilled some holes on the backside to securely zip tie the wires

I didn’t expect OEM quality for the price. But it is good for what it is. The fit is damn near perfect.

Be careful with the letters and mounting them to the grill. They are two pieces and the housing that mounts to the grill is not super thick plastic at the screw holes. Don’t over tighten the screws. There are four screws per letter, so it’s not likely to come off if one went missing.

I managed to buy on of these grilles off of AmericanTrucks.com but it did not come with the letters. Has anyone found somewhere to buy the letters only and NOT the LED versions that cost a ton? I saw one seller who paints them for $400 but I'm hoping not to spend that.

looks great!! does anyone know if there is a way to wire grill lights to come on when you remote start but then once you actually start the truck or put it in gear they turn off?

Only thing I can think of is using a relay to turn them off if the car is in the run position. Not sure what circuit would trigger this though.

I have been trying to figure out how to wire up a led strip under the hood bot only wand it to do the animation when I remote start then when I push the start button for the remote start to be taken over by the normal ignition it go out.
I currently have tazer DT and the amber DRL turned on and I noticed when my remote start is on the bottom marker led in the headlights are on but then when I hit the start button they go out and only the top amber drl stay on. I wish I could find out how that is toggled. I asked the tazer people and they aren't even sure

I am sure you could tap the running light circuit. But that means they would also come on with the headlights

Yeah. I wish I could find some kind of tap or fuse that works only when remote started.

I am assuming it’s a data trigger. But you could use a relay to use the running light circuit and then a second trigger to turn them off when the headlights are on. Just have to find both circuits and do a ground relay on off

Interesting. the headlights aren't on tho in the day. I wonder if there are different circuits that can be found on the top and bottom marker lights
