Finally got the call this morning that my truck is here!

Placed my order 2/19
3/5 started to frame and build it

I am in Los Angeles so the wait with shipping was not all to bad, but I placed the order almost 3 months ago. I bought a pretty fully loaded 4x2 Limited. I will post pics tonight.

congrats buddy! when i ordered my limited on 4-11 i said to myself 10 to 12 weeks. that's what it was on my 13 longhorn. any time sooner and that's a bonus. good to see our group of ram people are starting to get them in. enjoy!!

Got my truck last night! Almost didn't go thru with the deal because the dealer was trying to shaft me on finance % even though I have Tier 1 credit. The dealer also messed up and did not order my truck with colored bumper, but truck looks and drives great!

I don't like the "wood" on the steering wheel, it's a little to slippery, the NAV UI can def use some more work, maps look a little outdated. The space and room in this truck is crazy, the leg room reminds me of my bmw 750il. I wish they made the mirrors fold automatically when you turn the truck off as well.

Congrats on the truck it looks great! I’m curious if you don’t mind me asking since I will be in the same boat hopefully in 30-45 days. What was the rate the finance manager was trying to give you and what did you end up with? Trying to get an idea on where the market is on this. My credit is top tier and I’ll be putting down a large chunk to make my loan very low risk. I saw someone recently post elsewhere their rate recently was like 6.9 and they claimed to have good credit. That just seems INSANE to me.

6.9% is awful, I'm at 3.2% which still isn't even that great

Tier one credit should get you 2.99% from a credit union very easily. They wanted 3.99%. You can get financing done your self, that's what I would do. Do some research of local credit unions and go with them. Many are offering 2.49-2.99 for a 5 year loan.
