Hi guys, so I thought I installed everything correctly and programmed everything correctly but I am getting "Blind Spot Alert Unavailable Service required"
I may be the contributing factor as I used a few different components but either way would like some feedback/ input.
Here's what I did and what I used for my halogen ram conversion:
- bought oem rear tails with bsm sensors
- bought oem mirrors with indicators also with power folding and puddle lights ( my truck already had powerful folding with puddle lights)
- made my own harness, plugs, and pins, and occupied all 4 empty slots on the harness under the driver's seat also plugged both in to white box under the dash in 2 unoccupied slots.
-I used a harness for the rear taillights from a previous aftermarket set off led tailights I bought off of amazon ( all functions off the taillights work lighting wise but not sure if this is contributing to my issues since it's not the stock jumper)
- programmed everything with alfa obd
Not sure how to troubleshoot the wires I made from under the dash box to the harness under the seat to see if something is wrong there and not sure if the rear taillights harness could be the culprit.
Any thoughts? I added the pictures off Amazon of the tailights with the harness I am using. I will also add some picture of my connections from the white box under dash and under the seat when I get a sec.
