Hi Bhill47 and Zog43,
We're very sorry to hear about this happening with your brand new trucks! We suggest having your dealers address this concern. You may also send us a private message if you would like any assistance with this!

Hi Lydia,
I have owned my 2019 Big Horn for 3 months and have 3500 miles on it. I am experiencing the same issues as described by others. Here are the details:
No Etorque
2WD
No vibration or hum on acceleration or during cruising speeds
Vibrates when accelerator is lifted. Worse at 50 MPH, 40 MPH, 30 MPH and 20 MPH
In between those MPH, it decreases some but does not go away and gets noticeably louder as it hits those MPH.
This is not just noise, there is noticeable vibration in the chassis and frame.
I tried with Tow/Haul on to disengage the MDS and its still there but noticeably less loud.
This is very concerning a lot of people are experiencing this on $50K + trucks.
I, like many others, are wanting to know what is being done with this? You mention taking it to the dealer, and everyone should to get it documented, but clearly the service techs have no idea if it has not been identified yet.
What are the engineers at FCA saying about this?
Do you have a ticket number? because I have the same issue and I hate the humming noise please HELP!!!Hey Guys. Recently purchased a 2019 Ram 1500. I started hearing the same loud humming sound at freeway speed at cruise. The exhaust sounded fine but could hear it was from the speakers. After reading this forum I realized the amp issue. I took a video of the sound and brought it into my local dealership. They found there to be a re-flash of the amp and a tune up. Ever since they did that, no loud hum. It’s magical now and no issues to the truck. Had a buddy that had the same issue. He also went in for a re-flash of the amp and no more issues
I have the exact same issue happening. Feels like it is growling and binding, restart does not make it behave. Dealers have a month or more wait,WTHJust dropped our 2019 ram 1500 off at the dealership today. Wicked vibration under the truck could be felt in the floor and seat of the pants. Occurring in the 1200 to 1500 rpm range regardless of gear. Talk about annoying! Took the service tech for a ride and he was stunned by the noise and vibrations. Left the truck with them and had to get a loaner as mom just passed away and we were on our way out of town to her funeral. This stuff can't continue....
I had the same issue. Took it to the dealer couple days ago to have the brake pedal recall done. Told the technician about the problem, but they were unable to reproduce the noise. They said there was a update for the active noise control unit. Which they did. So far I haven't heard the noise again.
It’s worth having the dealer update the ANC. I haven’t had any occurrences since mine was updated. Although, mine was very intermittent. Sounds like yours may be more frequent. I also had the dealer update the PCM, TCM and DTCM. Really made a difference in drivability. It ran good before, but now it runs like a clock! Throttle response is improved, acceleration is better, more positive shifting. Overall, glad I had everything updated. The Uconnect update on the other hand, not so much!! But that’s a story for a different thread!Have a 2019 Ram 1500 with same issue. I have had the truck for 3 weeks. I bought it used with 4300 miles. Couldn’t figured out why someone would trade it in so soon thinking it was about money then came the ROAR/hum. Was is the Smokey mountains when I first heard it thinking it was something to do with the steep climbs but I was wrong. This morning I cranked the truck and it started immediately. I’m not sure where it is coming from but I know it’s not the radio. Haven’t taken it to the dealer yet but it is coming soon. This is my 4th Ram got rid of a perfectly good Tundra because I missed having a Ram. I’m regretting my move.

I also have this problem been in dealership a couple times may be lemon time worst truch I ever owned and I had 5 since 2014 new brand coming nextWell.....guess what. 2019 Bighorn with 7500 miles and I now have the vibration and pulsating noise. Drove 28 miles to work this morning and there it was.....from start up! Guess i can add that to the list of recalls that the dealer doesn't have time to do. UNBELIEVABLE! Is there a fix for the issue? Inquiring minds want to know.

You are not crazy @Tac747 ! Rolling down the windows deactivates the cabin noise cancelling system... this is exactly how the techs confirm whether the noise is coming from the ANC or something else.I know this sounds crazy but does the humming/vibration go away when you roll down the front windows. I know it sounds crazy but the humming goes away if I do.
I just started getting this yesterday and the humming noise gets louder as the speed and RPM's increase. Most noticeable in the 1200 to 1900 RPM range. I have also noticed the humming noise seems to rise and fall with the RPM's while the transmission downshifts when coasting. It was almost like it would sound if the muffler was removed or there was a hole in the exhaust system. At first I thought muffler fell off the car in front of me.
Really annoying problem to a truck that I was already starting to regret buying.
do you know what service bulletin it is? so I can let the dealer know??You are not crazy @Tac747 ! Rolling down the windows deactivates the cabin noise cancelling system... this is exactly how the techs confirm whether the noise is coming from the ANC or something else.
Sounds like your Active Noise Cancellation system is malfunctioning, and generating noise when it is supposed to be cancelling it. Many of us have the same problem, numerous threads on it. Ram is still working on a fix, but they can safely deactivate it for you while you wait for the permanent fix.
A service bulletin just dropped and I’m getting it done Wednesday. Let’s hope it works.
#08-033-19 I think, I added a post to our TSB thread in another section of the site.do you know what service bulletin it is? so I can let the dealer know??
thank you so much in advance!
