How to get radio update files

Can anyone assist me? RAM cannot without charging me a $200 fee to "check the system". I want wifi in my 2021 RAM 1500 Limited. Uconnect says I have the most current version but the support people at AT&T say I need to upgrade the radio software. The local dealer is useless and doesn't guarantee anything will work after the upgrade. Does anyone know how I can just do this myself?

Did you have wifi when it was new? A lot of the 2021s came without the correct hardware for it to work due to chip shortage.
 
Tried updating to 39.9 from 34.31 today but got this message. My truck was made in Canada but the TSB 08-095-22 says "This bulletin applies to vehicles within the following markets/countries: North America (U.S. and Canada)." I'm not sure what the issue is, can anyone chime in?

Yes, my thumb drive is 8gb and formatted properly as Fat32 with no other files on the it except the 'VLP' folder...

Does anyone have links or contact me about update files for 8.4 UC4 systems? I have a 19' that is on v22.32.10 (22.66.0 App ver).
Looking for several 8.4 versions to get to 39.7.
Looks like if it follows the 12" versions, then i need a 28, 34, then a 39.7?

39.7 isnt the right version for the 8.4" screens. They are on a different firmware
 
Does anyone have the latest update file for 2025 14” screen?

When I had the wifi connected with AT&T they played the game of an issue with Stellantis and then the help line for Ram would tell me AT&T is updating their towers so its on their end. I wound up changing my wifi name and password after I did a radio reset and it would work for a while. Eventually it just worked without an issue until I cancelled AT&T service in the truck. I didn't need it after I got unlimited on all my phones.
 
So I figured out mine is NOT the UAQ sales code for the 8.4 4c, but the UAV sales code for the 8.4 4c. JFC, this is silly.

sorry that my files got deleted by another user. I did lose Kr20 and NR 28 but everything else is back up

After I upgraded to 40.1 I lost the three level steering wheel heater option. Off-road and performance pages don't work past 39.7, unless they were factory enabled for your truck.

if you do upgrade past 39.7 you do lose performance pages. however 3 level heat option for your steeringwheel may just need to be enable again.

Nope I've checked multiple times. Still showing as enabled, but definitely doesn't work. Just on/off. Even after dealer reflashed my BCM and i had to redo all my changes, still don't have three level steering wheel heat.

I was actually about to post a PSA in all the relevant threads this weekend.
I believe the 3 level wheel option is killing the comfort heated seats and wheel module. Even though the setting “works”, I don’t believe the modules in ram trucks are set up to handle it long term. I’m on my third one I just installed today (original one plus two new ones), and several others with this setting have reported the same to me.

It always seems to start out with a stored Implausible heated steering wheel temperature message received fault in the CSWM, then a Heated steering wheel control over current fault. The heated wheel still works with those faults, until it finally quits and burns up the internal circuit with a Heated steering wheel control circuit open.

Not sure if that's what happened with mine. Worked two winters ago. Warm weather came around and I never used it. Then updated app version of radio, hasn't worked since, but heated steering wheel still works, it's just off or on.
 
2021 ram 3500 HD will this fix the wifi not working? Was told I had to go to the dealer but truck is deleted.
