Went through this battle... here you go.
285/65R20 will fit stock air suspension but tight. I downgraded to 275/65R20 and they run nice. I do have the off road group but my riding partners all run 275/65R20 on air ride 19 1500.

That I do not know I know the +1 offset really helps run that large of a tire size.most the same truck and want to add bigger tires w/o new rims, lift, leveling kit, etc. Would the 275/65R20 you went with work on the factory 20" wheels w/o rubbing (in all AR suspension settings)? Would likely want a slightly less aggressive tread if you have a recommendatio
Webbd30.....thanks for sharing your experiences......very helpful but I will ask for a little more info.
I am switching from 22" wheels to factory 20" wheels on my 4x4 Limited (after bending 2 wheels in 10k miles). Looking at 275/65r20 Terra Grapplers (non LT tire) ....based on your experience do you think this will work with factory wheels.....not leveled(yet) . I would value your input.
I came on to do research on the biggest tire for a stock ORP truck and I have so many numbers running around my head. I think im trying to over think this lol.
]I am unsure, I know when I was looking for the best tire size, the +1 offset is what really allows that tire to fill up the wheel well.
the stock offset sticks out much much less and that may create issues.
good luck.
Thank you can mud flaps be used with either setup?with a +1 offset you can fit largest 285/65R20
I went with the 275/65 because they were about $300 cheaper for a minimum difference.
Yes they will, I use to run them but moved away from them because they can damage the truck. As dirt and dust build up it can damage paint under the flap.Thank you can mud flaps be used with either setup?
I don't even have my truck yet and watched the installation of the OEM splash guards. The first thing I said to myself was that's going to scratch the paint. I was recently looking at WeatherTech splash guards it looks like they would be better with that.Yes they will, I use to run them but moved away from them because they can damage the truck. Do you have air suspension or coil’sFirst post! I did 33x12.50 20 on a 0 offset wheel tire guy says the offset is the difference no lift or level
Webbd30, thanks for the continuing information on this matter. Through this thread, with all of the replies, you,all have helped me immensely. I have been searching through to find the right tires for the OEM wheels. What I am finding is that the largest tire that will fin my 2019 Limited, air suspension, 4x4, off-road package is the 285/65R20 BUT you all seem to be recommending that I change out the wheels as well to go from the stock +19mm offset to one that has a +1mm offset to fit “just right”. I like the recommendations of the Nittro Ridge Grapplers as well. Everything I am reading is that this is an awesome all around tire.with a +1 offset you can fit largest 285/65R20

Go to customwheeloffset.com enter your truck, lift, wheel and tire size you want and it will return a database of other trucks with that set up and tell you if it rubs.Webbd30, thanks for the continuing information on this matter. Two weird questions, if you do not mind, as I am new to the truck scene. First, can you achieve the shift from +19mm offset to +1mm offset on the OEM wheels? Or do you need new wheels to change the offset? Second, and this one is “out of the box” a little, do you know what the largest diameter wheel that will fit in the spare tire well? Will the 285/65R20 set nicely in pace of the stock the 275/55R20 “hole” for the spare tire under the bed?
I really appreciate the advise and thoughts.
That looks great!Just had the Nitto Ridge Grappler 285/60/r20s installed. Liking them so far. A slight rub against a piece of plastic wheel liner in the front, but only in reverse and when doing a full lock turn. Not a big deal. A few pics.
