still need a tune with turbo. if anything turbos are more complicated to install in my opinion, and then there is turbo lag, difficult to tune properly as a daily driver, etc. That's for the part only. Install would be on top. A simple turbo kit is no more that $2500 if you go the Ebay route which thousands are doing incl. myself and make stupid power. Install is relatively easy if you're mechanically inclined. A complete supercharger kit is $6500 plus tune plus install. I'd suggest anyone interested in more power save up and go forced induction at this point.
It drives just the same as before. I still have auto start stop and mds on and all. I plan on getting custom tuning on it but just haven’t yet.sc with e torque???? wow. how is driveability?

Gave me about 115 more horsepower to the wheels.
No I have the procharger canned tune it just has the truck operate as normal... I want a custom tune.stock tune and no codes? that is crazy. be careful you dont run your engine too lean and burn out valves, melt pistons, etc.
Did you unlock the ECM (guessing you did). If so who unlocked it?No I have the procharger canned tune it just has the truck operate as normal... I want a custom tune.
Yeah it’s an unlocked one from diablo.Did you unlock the ECM (guessing you did). If so who unlocked it?
I had HP Tuners unlock the ECM and I've been having an issue where the ECM locks up and gives me a 'no bus' error. Everything slowly stops communicating (suspension, transfer case, ABS, etc) and then the motor finally shuts down on the highway. Can't restart either as the push start button is disabled. Need to wait for the time-out period to happen (which is the time you have set in the radio to keep the ignition on after leaving the vehicle). Heard the boot loader HP Tuners is using on the 2019+ Rams may not be good or compatible with the body control module, and causes it to lock up around 20-30 mins of run time. At least that is what's happening to me.
Just FYI. But I agree - HP Tuners is the industry standard and what almost all tuners use. Just need to get over this hump for the 2019+ Rams.
Personally, if I were to do it I would look for a little more power and some extra revs at the top end. Preferably one with minimal to no Droning. Id like for it to sound as stock as possible. Really am looking for power. I don't really like the sound of the Pro chargers I prefer the sound of a Whipple or an eldebrock.^^^^^ Question is what your end goal and use of the truck to you? Different goals will result in different cams which result in different supporting mods.....
Is it going to be DD, going to boost at some point?
