I’d take it to the dealer if you have any concerns. The transmission does take a bit of time to “learn” your driving style (with something like 48 different shift maps), but the “jerkiness” when stopping could also be a driveshaft or rear differential issue. It doesn’t hurt to do a “ride along” with a mechanic and demonstrate your issues.I’ve owned my 2019 Ram 1500 for about a week now and I don’t like the performance. Transmission hesitation and something feels like a kick in the back when stopping. Also does the miles per gallon get better?
?
For comparison, what were you driving before?

You’re being a tad dramatic, And if there is some sort of trans issue, it will get fixed. You can’t return a car like a pair of pants. Are you in 2wd or 4wd auto? I have zero issues in 2wd but notice a little bit more jumping in 4wd auto.
