The 2019 Jeep Wrangler “JL” has been confirmed to be getting the Ecodiesel. The interesting part about that is that it has been rated at 260hp and 442lb ft of torque. The Ecodiesel in the 2014-2018 “DS” Rams is rated at 240hp and 420lb ft of torque.
I think it would be a fair assumption that the 2019 Ram Ecodiesel will match the Wranglers numbers of 260hp and 442lb ft, giving a nice bump for the Ram’s especially if we see some of the rumoured weight savings in the new truck.
