That’s actually not accurate. S/S is only one feature. Other benefits…we can debate if they are useful or not, sure. But S/S is only one feature of e-t.
Plenty of videos and documentation about its other features. Again, not arguing if they’re useful/beneficial, that’s personal opinion.
Just to name a few.
Extra 100 plus lb ft of torque for the first half rotation of the tires.
Smoother shifts between gears.
Regenerative braking does increase pad/rotor/overall brake life.
If you want to debate if that’s 1% or 50%…I’m with you…but to say disabling S/S is basically disabling the E-T system is not accurate.
