The ones with more pleats will restrict the airflow a lot. These rams don’t have goo blowers in the first place. I went with k&n and am not putting the oil on it when washed. Keeps most junk out and still blows good.

The pleats add surface area making it less restrictive, within reason, when not smashed all together. And yes, the truck is parked outside in the weather.
