Dog hauler and dog pics

Here is our new family addition. We are having a issue naming her. She is a 9 week old Rhodesian Ridgeback liver nose with hazel eyes. She has been a handful to say the least.
Name suggestions are welcomed
How adorable!!!

Maiden voyage for the Duluth "Scout's Mobile Mudroom"--and it was an upholstery saver! (Sorry abut the blurry photo; of course I wasn't taking the picture while driving! Why do you ask? 😏 )

Definitely must build a flat platform to bridge the space between the back seat and the back of the front seats, as others on this thread have done--especially as the Golden Retriever gets bigger.

View attachment 102397looks good, i had a Visalia about 5 years ago. That is a Visalia right?

We finally named are new pup. SIMBA the name comes from the movie The Loin King and is a African name. It is related to the Rhodesian Ridgeback whick was a mixture of dogs including great dane-hound and wild African dogs 🐕 . They where used to protect villages at night from loins (no not attacking them but alerting to their presence) and used them for hunting lions during the day. They were used in packs to track then surrounded the loin until the fat white hunter got there to shoot it. They have a natural mohawk that runs the length of their spin that comes from the wild dog.

I had a Ridgeback, love the breed and so will you. They can be a little thick headed and sensitive, so you have to be firm but not harsh with them.

Yes they are great dogs, this is our second one. Our other is a 3 year old female. She was pregnant recently and lost 6 pups. Then she start to treat our 18 month daughter like her pups. So we decided to get a roady pup for her...she eveb let the new pup nurse.
But back to the breed. I was told never to train them as a gaurd dog and did not understand why u till we decided to put on a addition. I would hire help to do some of the work. I had several people show up, get out of thier vehicles while she was outside. She would run circles around them barking. I would come outside and and tell her its ok relax. She would then stop and start to wag her tail and sit down. It was the craziest thing. She also frwat with both the 18 month and 5 year old girls. They try to ride her, jump on her pull her tail ears etc and she take major abuse from the kids. She never growled barked or snapped at them. The most she ever did is walk away. A great breed. I do t understand why i dont see more of them. There is very few of them in are area.

Willa the Ram dog!

Well aren't they just big ol' balls of fluff. How adorable.

Got a year and a half old, 128 lb. Boerboel pup that I like to take in the 21 Ram 2500 Big Horn Cummins Crew Cab. These dogs have hairs that are like fishhooks - really hard to get out of some upholstered surfaces. They are particularly hard to get out of the fabric that covers the underside of the back seat of the truck. I haul the pup in the back seat with the seat bottoms folded up against the rear seat backs. Looking for something to protect the seat bottoms from the beast's hair. Suggestions?

I don't have any specific recommendations to cover the seats, but I do have a tip to easily remove hair. Even stubborn hair.

A rubber edged squeegee. Yup, it's that simple. Just brush the seat with the squeegee and the hair piles up ahead of it. I didn't believe it at first but worked like a charm.

Fits the crew cab perfectly with two coonhounds.

I just was hopping into this thread and noticed for the first time your question--so sorry! I really wasn't trying to be a jerk and ignore it!😕

Yep, you guessed it. Tana's a vizsla, Nemo is an English Cream Golden Retriever.
