Comma.ai

May he rest in peace! I'll still try to use his mount he shared here, hopefully it works on my 3x I just ordered.
It should work. The 3 and 3x mounts are the same.

I'm not sure if we have any FitCamX dashcam users out here or not. The only problem is it's a complete bezel replacement which makes it impossible to mount the Comma Ram Mount. For the last couple months, I went with a mirror post clamp to ball mount setup but got way too much vibration while driving, which made the picture fuzzy on the Comma3x. I made a remix of the Comma Ram mount that adapts to the FitCamX bezel. It is secured with zip ties and has been rock solid. Here are a few pics. I am currently printing these mounts in ABS. I've had a number of days where the interior of the truck has reached over 100° with no issues. Send me a PM if you need one. Cheers 🍻

Hi. I have a 2021 Ram Ecodiesel(which I love) and while it has ACC and Lanesense+, I find the lane keeping is awful. Recently used a friends Honda Ridgeline and its lane keeping put mine to shame. I do a lot of long boring drives here on the prairies and a little more help from an autopilot would sure help.

I’m an old geek and so have been considering getting a Comm.ai but wanted to check in here first on recommendations on:
- platform
- software
- where to get the harness
- where to get the mount

Any help and advice is greatly appreciated!

You get everything from comma. I can make the Ram mirror shroud mount a lot of use. I'd just joining are Discord. You will get alot more info and help there.

Factory LKAS is just to help keep you in the lane, not drive for you like the Comma.

Could someone please send me an invite to the discord server.

Hey guys, long time openpilot driver. Could someone post a new invite link to the discord?

Thanks.

Odd question here. Has anybody tried using their Comma without physically turning on the lane sense? The reason I ask is because I want to use Comma with my 2022 Laramie. In order to do so I need to add the Adaptive cruise control, and lanse-sense. I already have the 12" center stack and I don't really want to spend $800 to replace it just to get the lane-sense button. I don't plan to use the lane-sense without the comma, so do i really need the on/off button on the screen?

No, you don't need the button.
